Yeah it's a good game although I never liked playing it on professional difficulty because you can't save and I always fuck it up. The second mission in the opera was my favourite because it's a small map but there are so many ways of completing it. I still like to play it from time to time even though I suck at it.

Well now that I've beaten it on Expert for the third time I can honestly say. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU ALL ON ABOUT? I've not encountered one GLitch,Bug,or Telekinetic Guard. Everything is perfectly within reason. Explosives go off Guards come to check out the noise. They identify the bodies and then your disguise is fucked. All of this makes sense. No target was too hard to kill other than Lorne De Havilland and Parcheesi... WHAT ARE YOU ALL TALKING ABOUT?

It's an amazing game, but I'll never proclaim any game "the best", because then you're basically saying to everyone else "don't even fucking try to be innovative, I don't care".

Whilst I wouldn't say its the best game ever I will happily state that it is very good.
The stealth works well, the environments are awesome and the replayability factor is very high.
Best level in my opinion was the suburbs.
Sitting in the tree house and sniping everyone in the level from that one position is a gaming past time of mine >:D

I once tried the first real mission on the easiest difficulty so I could get used to the Silent Assassin strategy (having mastered the Psychopath and Professional methods without strategy). The father was easy enough, but the recommended method for the son was hard. So, I blew his head off with a shotgun.

Got it anyway.

As said before, it's a great game, but to declare it the best game ever is, at the very least, premature.

I liked it ,it`s the only videogame i know that has an unreliable narrator in it (the mardi gras mission being a prime example) and acheiveing the silent assassin rank has to be the best thing ever (one thing that always puzzled me though is it possible to get a silent assassin rank for the tutorial?)

You can go to a redneck wedding and kill hillbillies with a shotgun. NO CONSEQUENCES.

Personally, I feel that the Hitman games are somewhat overrated.
What do you think is better? I'm very curious to here your taste in games I'm going to guess they are Japanese from your avatar.

Sure, but blow up the little dance in front of the house or use a machine gun on the guard dog, or even just drop some chandeliers, and all of a sudden there's a bunch of guards shooting at me just because I'm the most obvious perpetrator. Just because they saw me do it doesn't mean they have the right to shoot me.

I've cleared maps by killing everything, particularly the boat and the suburbs. And I think the White House as well. It's radically different from the normal "stealth-and-subterfuge" method, but both work rather well with full upgrades and way too much ammo. The only thing you can't kill are children (did anyone else find it weird there were none at the children's birthday party?).

I hate most Japanese games. Well, for one, I prefer another IO game, "Kane & Lynch: Dead Men". And, my favourite game of all time is Saints Row 2, something that fun DEMANDS you to overlook the laziness of the coders.

I liked Contracts the most. The hotel level is so fun! There was something about the 1st Hitman I wasn't too keen on though.

One thing I love in Hitman is that they always have some moments in the game where something really unexpected happens and you have to completely change your strategy.

I bought Hitman 2 and sucked at it, though I loved the idea so much I bought Blood Money, and it blew me away. When it was new, it was great. It hasn't aged well.
Still looking forward to Hitman 5 though.

I wouldn't know about running SA or Contracts on a PC (I still recommend Contracts), but they came out for all the major consoles. If you go for the PS2 or Xbox version, both games should cost almost nothing as long as you have somewhere you can guy secondhand games from.

I'd suggest Ebay or Half.com, but that might not work if you're in Europe.

Oh, then you can find copies of both games for PS2 or Xbox for probably less than $10 total.
I picked up a PS2 box set of Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money a few weeks ago for $20.
How is that better than paying about $5 per game?

But it's still not a bad deal.
I didn't say it was better. I was just offering information.

Speaking of which, they should add interrogations to Hitman 5.

Definitely. You mean like the ones in The Punisher, right?

A mash-up of Blood Money and The Punisher would create so much awesome the universe would implode.
