the enemy agency
and all that..
i just felt like they were trying to make a james bond film...

I haven't seen it. Not going to. Hitman is played by a guy who looks like he's about 14.

its always being compared to the bourne movies for some reason

i love the games but what puts me off about the movie is apparently theres a love story and a sword fight?
they could have cast a better 47 aswell

I thought it was a just dandy movie. Boobs: Check. Gunfights: Check. Unexplained swordfights: Check. Russian SWAT teams that look like they have paintball gear for BDUs: Check.

I'm sorry but that's all an action movie needs nowadays.

so is out? welli havent seen i yet buti can say a few things like,

in my expierence every hitman game have some kind of self-contained story that is just a excuse for kill, specially in hitman 2.

i think if the devs would like to have a more complex storyline then they would have let the wheel chair guy and the albino clone to live, like a example.

sathie: Before watching the movie I thought the same way you do. But boy was I surprised. Oliphant in my opinion pulled of Mr. 47 in a very satisfying manner. It felt like I was watching a prequel to the games. 47 is way to much of a good guy in the movie. But he was just young and dumb, and the girl had nice tits. Even 47 has to have some hormones to survive. As to the story, well all I can say is that it did the job. No more, no less. It is not going to be one of my favorite movies of all time. But it has earned it's place in my DVD collections for those late nights when it's raining and I have a lot of popcorn.

I got a chuckle out of this.

I thought that communications thingy 47 speaks to in the trailer had "DIANA" on the screen?

Anyway, I ain't going to see it. If we stop watching these mediocre-cum-terrible films, maybe they'll actually start making good ones.

Jason Statham should have been Agent 47, when I watched the Transporter the first thing that came to mind was, "If a Hitman movie ever occurred, he should be Agent 47."

I haven't seen the movie, and eventually will once it's in my on demand channel.

I don't know. I didn't enjoy the movie as much as I thought I would. At times the movie would just lose the plot, literally. It would confuse me and I am not impressed when movies do that. However, I do this Oliphant was an ideal 47, even if he was too much of a nice guy as MrCIA said. All in all, I would rate it a 5, maybe 6 out of 10.

Possible Spoiler Warning

I thought it was a great movie, the transition was ideal. I think Olyphant was great for the role when I finally saw it, and there is no real 'romance' aspect of this film... it doesn't have 47 getting his end away as such... just has him not killing someone who could have become a nuisance... for once.

Was a good movie.
