I've noticed that keeps popping up, looks like some blemishing is still to be done.Gaiseric said:I didn't know there was one. Checking now.

I'm in the opposite there. The moment I gained that power, I just went nuts and threw cars at EVERYTHING.Gaiseric said:The only power I didn't use much was the "throw an object/car" power(didn't feel natural on the controller and the range wasn't good).
Eh, I'll agree that the inFamous 2 does give you a great deal of control over the character (More than Uncharted 2 even, and that game has a very special place in the empty hole in my chest where a heart goes.)Kagim said:The only complaint i can find is that it seemed a little to easy. I was able to kill both bosses by spamming grenades, the second boss barely moved. I just spammed grenades in his mouth and he died in like six seconds.
However i have faith it's probably just because it's a demo. Either that or i'm going to have to play on hard... Which will suck because my luck with games is medium is like ripping paper and hard is like trying to rip titanium.
With your dick.
Aside from that everything is better. The combat is better, going full auto or sparkler bombing people as evil. The amp is pretty fucking sweet. Gotta love swiping out peoples feet then home run smacking them away. Everything about it still feels awesome. No other game has ever made me feel as in control of my character as infamous, even going so far as letting me choose which hand to shoot from.
Tuesday is to damn far away...
Cole's running takes a fair bit of time to get used to. However i promise you if you get into the game and play for awhile you will not only get used to it, it will almost seem slow. The sheer size of the city is probably misrepresented by the demo. The first game the city is simply... massive.Kopikatsu said:Eh, I'll agree that the inFamous 2 does give you a great deal of control over the character (More than Uncharted 2 even, and that game has a very special place in the empty hole in my chest where a heart goes.)Kagim said:The only complaint i can find is that it seemed a little to easy. A big problem I have with Cole is his running, though. He runs faster than a dang car, which means it's REALLY hard for precision movement, and following normal people (Like the woman in the beginning and the 'sacrifice'.) becomes a severe chore because you could run three laps around the city in the time it takes them to traverse a (mostly) empty alleyway. Aside from that, it was a really great demo.
That was...exaggeration. I didn't mean that you could literally run three laps around the city in the time it took them to walk 20 feet.Kagim said:Cole's running takes a fair bit of time to get used to. Since you clearly have a PS3 I'd say choose infamous as one of your free games. It's an amazing game and something to try if you liked the demo. I mean it's free, and after about maybe an hour of playing the first you will be able to control Cole McGrath like he was a second you.
On a side note, yes, i would have to admit i might be a bit of a fanboy of this game.
That was always my qualm, even in the first game, quite tedious, all the more tedious if they accidentally get killed and have to do it all over again ¬_¬Kopikatsu said:That was...exaggeration. I'd planned on it, actually. inFamous and Dead Nation were my two choices.
Not to be an ass or anything, but you kind of missed the point I was making. Cole runs faster than the cars drive...which is fine. What isn't fine is that the civilians they make you escort move so damn slowly when compared to super-speed Cole.
I know, what i mean pretty much is once you get used to it, you'll be thankful for it. Cole being able to run like a mother fucker is useful when there are twenty or so bastards charging you. Like i said originally the game was oddly easy, as from the first game that hallway would have been swarming with people trying to beat him down. The speed is necessary cause your going to want to run ahead to clear out baddies before the civi gets closer, but still need to run back if an ambush strikes. It's part of why i was bugged by the difficulty. The fact i actually had to stand and wait for the civi with nothing to drop kick was out of place. Though i am hoping like with the first game the demo is just an easier version so people can see everything.Kopikatsu said:Not to be an ass or anything, but you kind of missed the point I was making. Also, I had difficulty picking up the packages in the last mission. I would run past it by just a bit...then tap the analog stick in the direction of the package...and watch Cole run just far enough past it that I couldn't pick it up. Again.
The prick.
