I crochet, that is one I rarely see others my age doing. I'm really into all these afghans my family has passed down, but the problem is most of them are hideously ugly so I'm trying to make some pretty ones for my family instead. Its easy to watch TV, American Football and movies while crocheting and its a pretty damn cheap hobby. Of course it will take forever for me to actually make a blanket, oh well.

I also read quite a bit. I'm having a Byronic phase right now so Jane Eyre it is.

Writing and playing music. Mainly Ukulele. I do black metal vocals, too, if I'm in that kind of band at the time. Can't traditionally sing worth a damn, though. Some day maybe. I also maintain my whiteboy dreads. And I drink a lot. Helluva lot.

Reading in general but I enjoy my Science fiction and fantasy as well as Horror.
Writting.
Watching films,I go Cinema buy Dvd's a lot.
Photography and collecting old cameras, currently got a Rollei Rolleicord and a Dueflex II, both old vintage box cameras over 50 years old.
Learning more about History, wouldn't be studying it at Uni otherwise :)
Swimming as well as weight lifting to keep fit, I do weights quite a bit so I would say it is a hobby.

Despite a fear of copying eeeeveryone else, one of my favourite hobbies is that age-old form of escapism, reading. I would also say writing. RP'ing on this very website is pretty fun, but all my serious forms of writing (articles/freelance blogging/script-writing) I wouldn't necessarily consider a hobby because they're forwarding my career. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy them though lol.

I also play badminton (no longer competitively) every week. I want to join a D&D group in my area but have no idea how to go about searching for one (all Google searches come up empty-handed).

So yeah...that's what I like to do other than gaming.

I read a lot, play a zombie board game called Last night on earth or a WWII game called Axis and allies with my housemates (my dad and brother join in when they come and visit) and watching a lot of movies.

I used to read alot more than i do now, I need a new good book. Love to work on cars, I'm a damn good cook & I really have to start playing my bass more often(I noticed a couple other Bass players on here, very nice!) A little bit of TV, mostly stuff on BBC America & college sports, the pro stuff annoys me. Not sure if its a hobby or not, but I'm always fixing things.

Music is a huge part of my life, so listening to, writing, and playing/singing music probably takes up more of my life than gaming does. Second only to music is fiction - writing or reading. If I'm not actively engaged in gaming or music then I'm either writing some story or completely wrapped up in someone else's.
Same, except I don't write stories. I wish I could, just don't have the determination I guess... Otherwise there is a guitar with in my grasps a lot of the time.
Yeah, it takes a lot of determination and effort to sit down and crack out a whole story with no preparation. I normally do it after like a week or two of doing other things; I sit around gaming or playing music then an idea will pop up. Just let it gestate in your head for a while, keep thinking it over, and then eventually once you have half an hour free you can just sit down and it will come straight out. Give it a try. It's very cathartic.
And people say gaming deteriorates creativity...
