BESIDES gaming? What is this heresy you speak of?
Although I guess you could count programming as a hobby, since it isn't a job for me just yet...

I'm learning the bass and the tin whistle, working my way towards the piano. Don't really read but I watch a lot of films. Listen to even more music.
I'm also studying the design of games, making one too. If that counts outside.

I don't get out much!

I have a hobby in astronomy. I love looking at all space has to offer. Though my 10" Dobby is like 1000 miles away :(

Nerf...
Modding painting etc.

Also camping and drinking XD
I would like to see some of your NERF mods and paintjobs.
I have three featured on this blog...
http://street-tag.blogspot.com/2011/04/custom-painted-dart-blasters-by-miles.html

My Vulcan...

My Longshot scope...

My Nitefinder and a clip...

That Nitefinder is by far my favourite weapon. It out preforms everything else I have...
And I'm insanely quick and accurate with it... (for Nerf that is =P)

This is about half of the stuff at a war we had last year...

We have about 5 times that now...

The work bench XD
Mod wise, I've tried just about everything, with varying degrees of success XD

So yeah...
Maybe a bit more than a hobby =P
Very nice! I really liked the Alpha Trooper and the Vulcan.

Music is a huge part of my life, so listening to, writing, and playing/singing music probably takes up more of my life than gaming does. Second only to music is fiction - writing or reading. If I'm not actively engaged in gaming or music then I'm either writing some story or completely wrapped up in someone else's.
Same, except I don't write stories. I wish I could, just don't have the determination I guess... Otherwise there is a guitar with in my grasps a lot of the time.

Hobbies I enjoy: Paintball, bass fishing, cooking and cooking related things such as making my own seasonings and sauces.

Hobbies I hate: Running/weights as I'm a slave to my fitness and appearance. Working on my project car. Love the car, hate cawing underneath it and pulling/installing engines and trans.

Yeah, it takes a lot of determination and effort to sit down and crack out a whole story with no preparation. I normally do it after like a week or two of doing other things; I sit around gaming or playing music then an idea will pop up. Just let it gestate in your head for a while, keep thinking it over, and then eventually once you have half an hour free you can just sit down and it will come straight out. Give it a try. It's very cathartic.

Making games... that counts right? No? dammit.

Yeah I don't get out much anymore. College is almost over and I want a job int he game industry therefore I need to spend time making games and amassing a portfolio.
