I like to play air guitar. It is my only source of excercise, and so far, it has kept me at normal weight. The only one who knows this is my girlfriend.

I quite enjoy playing Yu-Gi-Oh. I don't actually have any real cards, I play on my DS. But I sometimes get weird looks when I tell folk what I'm playing. But I don't care. I enjoy it, it's not hurting anyone, so I'm gonna play it. I find it's got a lot of interesting strategy options within it.

Let's Plays, lots of them. Big hobby of mine

People just don't understand the reason for liking watching someone play a game and commentate over it. Its like playing a a game with a friend. Ah well.
Aha I love Lets Plays! I must be subscribed to loads of people who just do that kind of stuff, I don't know why, but for some games I prefer to watch Lets Plays of them, instead of actually playing them.

Live - Action Roleplay. 4 weekends a year, I am a devoutly religious healer, who believes that everyone dies when it is their time (but still cried when her vampire friend got executed).

Table - top Roleplay. I mostly enjoy the scifi ones, like Shadowrun, Cyberpunk, D20 modern with Mecha epansion and Traveller, but I give any a go pretty much.

Well you see, i enjoy drawing. I like to just draw mostly characters from games/anime etc.

Then, My Little Pony came around, and i started to enjoy the show.

... you already know where this is headed.

When you say you 'SHOULD' be embarrassed, who's opinion are we talking about? Anyone who thinks i should be embarrassed by something (a hobby? come on...) obviously has too much time on their hands and could stand to pick up a hobby of their own. If we're talking about general societies view, then we all should be ashamed for even being on this video game website. Or for that matter, who talks to people on an internet forum? Don't we all have any 'real' friends, lol? We're all losers.

Take away: no one should be ashamed of any hobby. It's a friggin hobby.

While I'll fully admit to liking various things when asked, there are a few things I won't mention socially until I've gotten to know someone.

The biggest one is definitely Roleplaying. This is not helped by both the other common use for the term making it hard to explain what it is and the fact that in the UK its practically non-existant. As a side, if you're part of a group and in my area, I'd love to join :)

Others include Music (my tastes range from Bad to Worse to Country and Western), Film Choices (I love Disney more then a 26 year old guy should) and BBC Radio 4.

Spending copious amounts of time on the internet. Also, I like swings and running without shoes.

Nerf.

Nerf guns, wars etc.
We mod them, paint them and go through hundreds of darts shooting each other.

Always get funny looks when a group of 20ish year old men walk to the check-out with $100 + worth of nerf.
Nothing you should be embarrassed about. xD Do you do have them in public?

Btw have you ever modified one of those small-ish cheap ones?

[sub]Stupid internet -_-[/sub]

We take them through a Maccas drive through.
Also have large wars in public parks. Need to watch colours for those. I have been questioned by police because one of mine looked real XD

If it exists. Either me, or one of my mates has modified it.

Almost nothing we own is stock.

Writing fanfiction. I enjoy it, as every so often you get a couple of people that review your story that actually understand writing and your prose improves. And that's a wonderful feeling, as I'd like to grow and improve as a writer.

At the moment I'm writing stuff about BlazBlue. And I probably will be for QUITE some time...

That I'm highly interested in emotional things is on top of that list. I love romance, I love cute things, I love beautiful things, I love animals, and I love feeling.

I also quite enjoy acting feminine for short bursts once in a while, much to the embarrassment of those I'm with at the time.

I greatly enjoy pornography (though a lot of pornography sucks, as there's too much a vibe of guilt and "bad" in it) and talking about sexual things. In particular I'm a massive fan of, often terrible, sexual jokes (I'm basically a real-life version of Seitokai Yakuindomo).

I used to worry a lot when I was younger about my hobbies being unacceptable. I used to be embarrassed about many of my former (some that I still have) hobbies like constructed languages/worlds, writing, drawing, and making music.

It wasn't before fairly recently that I realized that people who blindly object/complain about any of my hobbies aren't worth my time in the first place.
