ever notice that the economy went crashing down as we starting throwing down hardcore smoking laws?
so many people are quitting smoking...alot of government tax money came from the tobacoo trade.
anyone else seeing the pattern?
yeah. smokers, they are the key.

see becuase you can really only smoke at home...or when your in a car full of adults or no one.
you have to walk out of the pub/bar/club/restaurant every time you want a cigg...makes it more of a hastle to smoke.

but yeah, there was also an argument once that stopping smoking on certain plane flights made the air dirtier, because without the smokers they didnt feel the need to use stored fresh air in the cabins... or something XD

Three problems; the reason the economy failed (primarily) was because bankers made stupid investments with no real thought to consequences just so they could hit some targets, and local councils and governments etc. had there money invested this way so they lost loads of money

I've never seen a smoker give up just because it's a hassle, an addiction I think may override that/

And finally, have you seen the prices of nicotine patches. Its about the same as a pack of cigarettes so the overall money change is minimal

Actually its because they upgraded pot to a class B drug. All the stockbrokers sobered up and freaked out when they realised they didn't know the hell was going on.

No, you've got it all wrong. I present to you my explanation of why the economy went to hell.

People were buying houses they couldn't afford.
They were buying those houses with money they didn't have.
They borrowed the money they didn't have from banks.
The banks that lent the money weren't paying attention to what happened to the money.
And apparently this was a bad thing! Who knew?

So basically, the way to fix the economy is don't spend money you don't have. You wouldn't think people would need to be told this, and yet here we are.

BRILLIANCE! The key is drugs. We legalise all drugs, sell them in chemists at heavily taxed prices. The governement gets all the money and BAM economy saved.
