[CRAVE CASE 55]

soory everyone I work for a professional lawn care servise cutting grass and spreading mulch. After 10 straight days of rain and not being able to do much the weather cleared and we got nailed in business. Sorry for being inactive but we caught up on our workload so now I'll be able to post. Me and lemiel talked about it so disreguard the previous Arena fight...

Spoiler: The Fight

As Deadeye walked slowly into the arena he Eyed the Fiend who could barely see him from all the Jet he was on. When They signaled to fight Dead Eye Reached down and picked up a small stone and threw it hitting the fiends helmet. Now Enraged The fiend charged completely past the knife, Right before he got to Dead Eye, he Round housed kicked him in the face. when the fiend fell, as the fiend was getting up Deadeye said "Yur gunna have to do better than that to beat "The Hero of the NCR"". Dead eye picked up the knife and threw it into the Wall og the arena. "No weapons needed."

The fiend charged again, Dead eye easily sidestepped him and stuck his foot out for an easy trip takedown. "Come on now, You can do better." After another charge that he side stepped the fiend leartned it wouldent work. so he ran at Dead eye throwing wild punches. With his hands behind his back dodging each strike like the ancient monks of yesteryear, He finaly decided to end it.

When The fiend began to tire Dead eye in fast a lightning moves hit the fiend in 5 pressure points leaving him paralyez momentarly, when the fiend regained motion it charged and dead eye threw a high kick connecting to the fiends face, and driving his nose to his brain. killing him. Spitting on the corpse he walked out calmly.

Over to Knoxx "seriosly you gotta do something about that shit." and walked to Night Owl for some food

Knox is visbly impressed by the fight and calls back "Don't worry. I will..."

"Good fight Dead Eye, you make the NCR proud, do you want a Brahmin steak? No one has dropped dead so we can assume they aren't poisoned." Night Owl took another sip of his Nuka Cola to wash down the remains of his own meal.

"Honestly since I scout so much I Havent had a good meak in a while." He said with a laugh

turning to the slave. "Ill have a Brahmin steak, A Nuka Cola, And a Sunset Sasperilla."

When she gives him the food he pools out his dog tags and a small pouch attached to them. Throwing the woman the pouch and telling her "You need this more than me"

As he walked away he could tell the woman was shocked opening the pouch, Full of legion gold.

Marcus got up and pushed his way through the crowd around him as he approached the food area.
He waled over to the girl with the bag that Dead Eye had given her and grabbed her hand and looked inside.

Son of a *****.

He called out to a few Legionnaires ahead of him and pointed at Dead Eye, "Stop him!"

The men stood in front of Dead Eye, locking his path long enough for Marcus to catch up with him. Marcus yanked his shirt by the shoulder, spinning him around so that he was face to face, then whispered harshly,

"Don't you dare toss around evidence of our blood when you are in our home. I just fought for your life, don't make me end it."

"Evidence of your blood? nonono. That is evidnece of my familys blood. I took it off the soldiers who killed my family, after I tracked them down. And I found out something when I ambushed them. When I interogated their commander, He admited that it was an illegal raid, it was not sactioned and it should not have happened. He broke your laws. So dont claim its of your blood, had his superiors found out he would have been crusified and you know it."

"It doesn't matter the cause." He whispered.

Then he waved and called the rest of the group by the bar to come over to him, once they were there he said,

"None of you seem to realize how close you are to death in this place. You are NCR soldiers in the Fort. He just handed a bag full of dead legion gold to one of us. If anyone but me had seen that he would be dead already. You may have won your fights in the arena but that only granted you the right to pass through, it doesn't mean you do what you like. If any of you do something that stupid again, even my word will not be able to protect you."

"So I've got to know. Why did you protect me then? I'm an NCR officer and your a Legion Superior."

"Because I want this mission to succeed, and as much as I despise you, I realize that you are a necessary asset."

"Well that was uncalled for... And here I thaught you were kind of cute."

He said with a sarcastic smartass tone

Alex taps knox on the shoulder and beckons towards the pair.

Lucius sighed as the final member of the group, the smug NCR sniper that he had already had problems with, managed to fight his way out of the arena. At least he knew they were all capable of fighting, even if it was just against Fiends who were drugged out of their minds (if they had any left). He dispersed along with the rest of the Legionaires watching the arena fights and headed off to the blacksmith to pick up his machete. The blacksmith was done when he arrived and gave him back his personal weapon, now re-sharpened and properly cleaned. With that, Lucius walked back to where the rest of the group would be meeting.

As he neared he saw Marcus waving the group over and letting them properly know the situation they were in. Lucius was glad for that, as most seemed willing to flaunt Legion authority when they wanted. He almost hoped that one would go too far and open themselves for payback. Still the mission had to go on, so Lucius refrained from causing any trouble. Still, he was curious as to why Marcus and the one NCR soldier seemed to be arguing at the moment.

"What seems to be going on here Centurion?" Lucius said to Marcus as he walked over, his machete still in his hands.

 

[Viking Incognito]

"This one payed for food with gold from dead Legionaries' corpse." He said jerking his thumb towards Dead Eye.

He was agitated with this situation. He was still sore from the fight and now he had to deal with this NCR fool almost getting himself killed when he should be celebrating. He was about ready to tie Dead Eye to a cross.

Alex beckons for the men to come over to him.

"Hmmm. I do not even know why he would pay in the first place. She is a slave, she does not work for pay." Lucius was almost sure that the gesture had been a means to piss off the Legion more. He was beginning to think that the NCR soldier was almost looking to fight the Legion right now.

"As the Centurion has probably told you, if you don't want to be nailed up on a cross like the profligate you are, you would best respect our authority here," Lucius said to the Dead Eye. He could tell the situation was quickly becoming very tense right now, and while he was seriously hoping to eventually put down this NCR soldier, he knew that if a fight broke out, the rest of the group would surely join in. And while they might kill quite a few Legionaires, they would most certainly die in the process, ruining the chance for this mission to ever be completed.

"Now before I have to reclaim NCR property from this Big mother fucker, can we please charge guns blazing into a Deathclaw nest now? Its probably safer for me and night owl there"

Knox notices Alex beckoning for him to come and wanders over.
"'sup? You need somthin'?"

"Hey knoxx what did you say that missing khan of yours looked like, Anders was his name?"

"What do you think here? You are not particulary with either group and you have been in the wastes years longer than me so if this turns nasty who's side are you with?" whispers Alex.
