Night Owl sighed, it looked like more members had signed onto this farce of an expedition, at least they didn't appear to be as aggressive as the original members of the party had been on first meeting each other.

"I'm going to assume this next mission is going to be more difficult than the last, considering House saw fit to hire extra team members."

I miss a lot because of my timezone, this was all posted while I was asleep, sorry about missing all that.

"Oh the scope?" Demeter said turning to Chaz. "It's only mid range, I'm not a sniper by any means. I even have it on this nice little latch to take it out of the way when I don't need it. My specialty is finding things rather than fighting." She shifted uncomfortably, "this elevator sure crowded, seems like ages."

"Probably a fatal malfunction," muttered Night Owl. "We'll be stuck in this elevator for all eternity."

"Ages since what?" Ethan said as the Elevator reached the lobby floor. He stepped out and let the others do so as well, still looking at the new girl for her response.

"Ages since we first got in that elevator most likely!" Night Owl chuckled as he stood in the lobby. "We had time for a full argument and life story discussions to take place on the ride."

"Enclosed spaces make me uncomfortable. It's different being in a cramped cave for shelter because you know there's open space right outside. Elevators are just closed tiny boxes. I guess being crammed in here with so many got the better of me."

Chaz looked at the thin, tired-looking guy in NCR garb who had spoken - he didn't look too happy - Chaz didn't recall an introduction to the guy, so went right ahead with "Yeah, but with 10 of us on the case, how badly can it go? Anyway, i'm Chaz, it's nice to meet you!". with this introduction, Chaz offered his hand to shake, and turned to Knox.
"hey Knox", he said calmly, "sorry to be so abrupt with you in the lift, i'm a little on edge at the moment, i could do with a good meal, I think!" Whilst this was technically true, Chaz knew that he would have to be careful to disguise his diet from these new aquaintances, which could be difficult if they continued to work together...
At this point, Demeter spoke up, explaining her scope, looking uncomfortable in the cramped elevator, a fact which she quickly vocalised. As the elevator reached the ground floor, Chaz replied to Demeter.
"finding things, huh? I imagine a scope would be pretty useful for that!" He said, smoothly, "Glad we're out of that thing - there isn't nearly enough room, especially with two suits of power armour!" Chaz felt a tangible change in the atmosphere as the group exited the elevator. "so do we wait for the legion guys here, or meet them on the way?", he questioned of anyone paying attention. He wondered to himself why a man with so many resources as House hadn't thought to invest in a faster elevator!

Knox nods and tosses the bottle across the room. "No problem. Everyone has bad days sometimes."

Knox wonders aloud. "Shit...now I can't remember if I told them to keep it locked...maybe I just told them to keep it shut..."

Chaz was glad that Knox had accepted his explaination, and his mind was beginning to wander, anticipating his next meal - damn, this diet was addictive - when he heard Knox come out with "Shit...now I can't remember if I told them to keep it locked...maybe I just told them to keep it shut..." At this, Chaz decided once again against directly questioning Knox, still unsure of his temperament, but looked questioningly at him anyways, as if slightly puzzled. Whilst Chaz was awaiting a respose, the other NCR guy exclaimed regarding the absence of 'Lucius and Marcus', who Chaz could only assume were the Legion's representatives.
"Hey", said Chaz, "I don't think i caught your name - I take it you don't get along with the Legion guys so well as you do with Knox here?" Chaz wondered why this surprised him, given the tension between NCR and the Legion.

Im off for the night, i'll be posting again tomorrow at some point!

"Nope. NCR sniper I've killed atleast 50 Legioneers in the last year. The legion slaughtered everyone I knew and branded me with theig emblem. I cut that emblem off my own back and tracked down that battalion and single handedly destroyed it."

Looks over at Knoxx.

"You ok there little buddy?"

Knox snaps out of his distracted thinking when Dead-Eye called over. "Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm ok...just worrying a bit about something I picked up from the last mission. Didn't want everyone to fuss over it at Gommorah."

Lucius was awakened by the loud banging on the door of his room in Gomorrah. He bolted upright in his bed, his combat instincts kicking in immediately. He realized that it was only the sounds of someone at the door, though it seemed like if they weren't careful they would break it down. As he got out of bed to get clothed to see who it was the woman who had taken interest in him last night stirred. She was some whore for the casino and though Lucius generally did not bother much with the opposite sex, he had had a fun night.

After getting his clothes on and walking over to the door and opening it, he found himself looking into the face-screen of one of those metal-men House used. This one didn't have the face of the stern security guard on it, instead looking much more friendlier.

"Why hello there Mr. Lucius, I just came over to tell you that Mr. House has another mission for you and the group," the cheerful sounding robot said to him.

"Very well, then I will be over as soon as I can," Lucius replied, figuring he would just change into his armor over there.

"Also, it seems that another Legion fellow like you has come to inspect the armor that Mr. House has promised you. He says you should be there to meet him."

"Good, I'll get over to him soon," Lucius said before closing the door and going to get his stuff ready.

"Who was it Adam? It sounded like one of those robots that patrol the strip. Was that Mr. House looking for you," the woman said to Lucius, using the name he had given when asked for it.

Lucius took about a second to remember that she was referring to him before responding, "Yes, it sounds like I have another mission that I must be off to."

"Well come look for me when you get back," the woman called seductively to him. Lucius was already grabbing his things and heading out the door though, eager to be off for another run through the wasteland. He retrieved his weapons the front desk and then exited Gomorrah, heading across the street to the Lucky 38. As he entered the lobby he saw the group standing around talking, with a few people he didn't recognize as well. He walked over and announced his arrival with a question.

"Has House given us our mission yet? I have something I need to do before we leave this city."

"Yeah, we're looking for some kinda computer data in an old RobCo building. He also had Pip-boys for the lot of us. You'll probably want to head up and get one for yourself."

"I believe I shall," Lucius replied, and made his way to the elevator. Once inside and heading to the right floor, he quickly changed into his Legion armor and waited for the door to open. They opened after some time and Lucius walked into the room where the group had been briefed before. He went over to where they had previously received equipment and saw the small computers that Ethan had mentioned. Lucius picked up one of the few that were still lying on the table and put it away for now, he would put it on later when he had more time. For now though he needed to meet with the other Legionary to collect the example of the armor Mr. House would supply them with. Lucius walked over to one of the nearby robots (which seemed to be everywhere in this casino, no matter what room you were in) and asked it where he could find the other man.

"Enter the elevator and it will take you to the correct floor," the stern metal-guard responded.

Lucius did as he was told and soon found himself on a darker room in what he thought was farther down. He saw another man in Legion armor as well as several of the boxy robots. Lucius walked over to the Legionary and announced himself.

"Ave, true to Caesar. You would be the Legionary sent to pick up the armor correct?" Lucius asked.

"I am indeed. I was told to wait here until your arrival. I also heard that there was another of our numbers in New Vegas as well. Is this true?"

"It is. The great Centurion Marcus the Anvil-slayer is here and working with me. This business is beneath someone of his fame though and I will be the only one here."

"Very well Frumenta-" the man started to reply.

"Scout. I am a Prime Legionary Scout, nothing more," Lucius suddenly cut him of, his voice hard and broking no questioning.

The man stared at him a bit before continuing on, "Very well Scout. These robots here said that when you arrived at were ready, they would hand over the sample armor."

"Well I am here and ready, we can receive the armor now," Lucius said while turning to the robots.

"Please wait while the armor sample is released," the Securitron replied.

Not long after saying that a portion of the wall opened up and out slid a ledge with a suit of armor on top of it. Lucius and the Legionary walked over and inspected the armor before picking it up. The material certainly looked sturdy and was obviously made to resemble the typical style of the Legion's armor. The Caesar would be the ultimate decider though and so the Legionary took the armor to be inspected back at the fort while Lucius followed him back to the casino lobby to meet with the others.

Upon arriving and seeing the Legionary off, Lucius told the group that he was ready, "All my business here is done for now. I am ready to be off on the mission we will be on."

Night Owl shook Chaz's hand.

"Nice to meet you too, most know me as Night Owl and my real name isn't important, ranger for the NCR if you didn't know." With the long elevator ride out of the way all that was left to do now was wait for the last of the team to arrive. He nodded to Lucius.

"We'll leave soon enough, whenever your buddy Marcus shows up, I haven't heard the screams of dying innocents so I'll assume he's not too busy."
