"Well, no time like the present I suppose." Ethan sauntered out of the lucky 38 and checked his pip-boy. It showed that they would have to travel north to get to the factory and it would be at least a weeks worth of walking. So the first thing Ethan did was talk to the Caravans. They traveled well supplied, there would be plenty of food and water, and they were always happy to have armed people accompany them rather than rob them.

Eventually they found a caravan that was heading in their direction. The Crane Traders were a decently sized five-Brahmin organization. They traded a bit of everything, food, water, weapons, ammo, meds, and traveled around the smaller towns farther out from New Vegas. Their willingness to go farther carried an increased risk of attacks by raiders on both themselves and the towns they traded in. But the risks they took carried an impressive benefits of caps if they were managed right.

They were run by a man by the name of Denny Crane, an aging lascivious narcissist who none the less, was an impressive business man, who led his caravan to success and continued to travel and trade with them. His partner and best friend, Alan Shore, traded with him. With them were a few results of Denny's "activities" from the towns he had traded in as well as his hired staff. Denise, a blonde tomboy who was fast with a gun. Brad, another guard, just as fast with a gun, and twice as willing to use it. Together they kept the raiders thinking twice. Clarence, a sensitive black man who took care of the Brahmin. Jerry, a shy, quiet man who kept track of the money. And Tara, a tall brunette who's job was to the negotiate with the towns they met with.

Ethan negotiated passage with them. The caravan would kept them fed and watered, as well as provide them a place to sleep for the nights. In exchange the team would work with Brad and Denise to keep the caravan safe as long as they were traveling together.

With business in hand the team left New Vegas with the caravan a few hours after they left the Lucky 38.

"NCR Ranger, huh?" Replied Chaz to Night Owl's introduction, "I've seen lots of your type wandering the wastes - you all keep getting in my crosshairs!" At this point, the tall, lean legionary he'd seen at mick and ralph's walked out of the elevator into the room with another member of the legion, initially assumed by Chaz to be the second legion member of the team, however the other guy left, and the tall lean one turned to the main group.
"All my business here is done for now. I am ready to be off on the mission we will be on", He announced to the group, without the courtesy of introducing himself. Chaz decided, for the sake of the three newcomers, especially the still-silent Isaac, to ask his name.
"Ave", began Chaz, as the standard legion greeting, "My name's Chaz, may i ask yours?"

"Another fucking Legion psycopath. Well hopefully you'll end up in the crosshairs of my AMR. That should be a real slow death if I hit you in the midsection. Blow a real clean hole in you."

"Legion? Only two Legion around here aren't there? Lucius and Marcus, these new comers don't appear to be associated with anyone."

"Another fucking Legion psycopath.", Came a declaration from dead eye, "Well hopefully you'll end up in the crosshairs of my AMR. That should be a real slow death if I hit you in the midsection. Blow a real clean hole in you". Chaz assumed that this morbid threat was aimed at himself as a result of using the Legion greeting towards the present legionary.
"I hope you aren't aiming that threat at me, Dead-Eye.", retorted Chaz, "I thought i had already made it abundantly clear that I have no faction alliance? I was merely using the greeting that I know most Legionaries to use.". Chaz realised at this point that the notion of the group all getting along had been a little far-fetched, and that inter-faction rivalries and enimity would dominate interaction

"I wouldn't worry too much Chaz, when you're in the NCR long enough you start seeing the Legion everywhere, sometimes I'm on patrol for so long I think the damn radscorpians are clicking at me in Latin." Night Owl chuckled and kept walking.

Holy crap, I've lost track. Surely the updates untill now were slow, but this hit me out of nowhere. 2 pages of missed action. I'll do my best to keep up. Being in a different timezone sucks.

At the Lucky 38 some time ago.

As Isaac took the pip-boy he had a look at the team. "My oh my. This will be interesting." He thought. He also took some .308 ammo and four grenades.

Already comfortable with the pip-boy due to his high science skill, he checked the target place. "This will be easy." He thought and grinned.

At the moment.

Isaac went up to Night Owl: "Hey there! I guess you already know my name, if not, I'm Isaac. I am not that talkative, but don't think that I'm a crazy lone psycho *chuckles*. You seem to be a fine chap. Why don't we have a little talk?"

Sorry for the possible confusion. Edited for better understanding.

"This is more like it, traveling in the wastes." Demeter said as she stretched out her arms as if to embrace the air. "So, how long will we be traveling with the caravan before we split?"

Ethan brought up his pip-boy and tweaked with the dials, bringing up the map. "Well, it looks like it's about a hundred miles until we reach the building, I'd say we'll be with these guys for about a week."

"Well it's nice to be travelling in a group again. Walking out here alone for that long is hardly any fun."

Lucius was surprised by one of the newcomer's greeting of him with the standard "Ave" of the Legion. Hardly anyone in the wasteland had a favorable opinion of the Legion and although Lucius didn't care one way or another, it was surprising to someone who was comfortable using the Legion greeting.

"Ave Chaz, you may call me Lucius. I am glad to see that there are those out there that are at least friendly towards the Legion."

Lucius listened as Dead Eye once again showed his opinion of the Legion while the group headed out with a group of caravaners. Lucius listened as the only female so far in the group began speaking, obviously happy to be out on the wastes.

"I will agree that it is nice to be out in the open air again. I have grown used to traveling on my own though, so being solitary does not bother me," Lucius chimed in.

"Aside from being brotherhood, I'm a hitman. Keep that in mind if someone absolutely must die." said Alex.

Knox taps his hammer on his shoulder as he walks and looks a bit unnerved at hearing they'd be gone for more than a week. "That might not be good for my hotel room..."

He then puts his hammer away and fiddles with the knobs on his Pip-Boy, to ease his mind a bit.

"Heh, I set my prices." said Alex. "Keen not to get the legion after me anyhow, even though I could most likely take a few of them down, Machetes don't do well with power armour, its why I had it confiscated at the fort."

Demeter turned to the legionary "You'll have to teach me then, because while there are some things that are better done alone I can't seem to master solitary long distance traveling. Granted I was raised with a "pack mentality" so I guess my childhood is to blame." She mused with a smile. "So, Knox right? what's wrong with your hotel room, do you need to water your spice garden?"

Knox looks over to Demeter. "Yeah, I'm Knox. And let's just say I have something in there that would NOT be good to let out."

"Ave Chaz, you may call me Lucius. I am glad to see that there are those out there that are at least friendly towards the Legion.", came a reply from Lucius to Chaz's earlier question, surprising him with how friendly Lucius seemed towards someone whom the legion would likely deem a 'profligate'.
"I'm entirely independent of the Mohave's factions", replied chaz, "I judge people as individuals, so unless you give me reason to dislike you, I won't, though the same goes for liking, of course!" Having clarified his stance once again, Chaz took out another bottle of scotch, draining half, and once again offering it around, presuming it would go to Knox. To draw his attention, Chaz decided to question what it was that had him so high-strung.
"what's eatin' you, Knox?", he inquired casually, "you seem rather bothered about something!"

-----Caravan-----

Brad kept their hands on their guns, he was none too happy at the presence of legionaries, and neither of the guards felt entirely secure with all the well armed individuals walking with them.

Clarence kept quiet, he kept his hand on the lead Brahmin and spoke to it, something he normally did when in new, uncomfortable situations, and all the new people certainly made him uncomfortable.

Jerry had a few coins in his hands, and his hands deep in his pockets, he liked to feel the tangible weight of coins and caps in his hands, and he was extremely guarded about his personal space, he kept his hands in his pockets at nearly all times, and his posture was tight.

Denny walked over to Demeter, his horn dog nose honed in immediately on presence of a new woman. He walked in front of her and made his typical introduction. "Denny Crane, I'm rich, you're hot; marry me."

The rest of the caravan chuckled a bit under their breath at Denny's typical lack of tact.

Ethan had over heard Denny's flirtation, and looked over at the caravan owner and Demeter, he didn't know the new girl, or how she'd react. He got himself ready to jump in and stop a fight. They had a good thing going with the caravan, and he'd rather not have to leave them and have the group walk on their own.
