Edit: one last thought: Education seems to deteriorate with the decline of social morals. And it's predictable. The norm is that you don't want people understanding that things you're doing are wrong, so you stop teaching and start indoctrinating. Intelligence drops accross the board and society devolves further as a result. Moral decay is called DECAY for a reason - it eats away at everything. I'm playing fallout right now. Interesting game; but, it reminded me of some of the homes I cleaned in my highschool years for a friend's dad who was a realtor. Post holocaust housing looks a lot like homes of drug addicts who moved out in a hurry so as not to be burdened with rent owed.
Ok let's start with the obvious, definitions of terms you don't understand.
Darwinism:
a theory of organic evolution claiming that new species arise and are perpetuated by natural selection. Also known as evolution 1.0 (we're currently at evolution version 2.3 btw)
Socialism:
Any of various political philosophies that support social and economic equality, collective decision-making, and public control of productive capital and natural resources, as advocated by socialists.
The socialist political philosophies as a group, including Marxism, libertarian socialism, democratic socialism, and social democracy.
Well I'll be damned none of your example fit either of those definitions. how weird, could it be that your accusations are factually wrong? Couldn't be after all your (presumably) Christian Conservative homophobic upbringing wouldn't lie to you........would it? Yes Stalin, Mao, and Hitler are bad men. They are not however Socialists or Darwinists. And thier actions don't excuse the crusades, inquisition, which burnings, suppression of free speech, anti science behavior of your beloved church. (going a bit on gut feeling here but I've seen your kind before)
Moving on to your point of the education system and declining morals and indoctrination.
isn't it your ilk that is trying to bring non science (ID) into the science classroom? isn't it your ilk that silences dissent? isn't it your president (Bush) that passes things like the patriot act? I've been called a trouble maker by your kind for asking questions more times then I can count (this time conservatives not Christians) apparently it's frowned upon to ask for a reason, to ask for facts, to provide evidence, and to think. Things I learned in this decayed education system. yah that's a bit rambley and a bit tangential but the point stands.
I'm also quite amused by your fallout reference, because it certainly wasn't the liberals that pressed the button to start world war 3. It was almost certainly the religious fanatics that like you endlessly spew about moral decay and how giving rights to people (Gays women Blacks Asians) is destroying society. There is a reason why Marx proposed a ban on religion, and a damn good one at that, but in the grand scheme of Liberal morality the reason was void, which is why most liberals will not support a band on religion. I know I can't say that same for conservatives and a ban on atheism, we're barely allowed are freedom of speech as is. (again a bit tangential but point stands)
So I'll end this with a simple request, next time don't just spew propaganda and bullshit, provide me with some facts on anything I've addressed (socialism, Darwinism, ID, GOD, etc.) I know you never learned it but facts are kinda important.
