I loved Alpha Protocol even if the gameplay is extremly broken. Story and dialogue system were incredible.

I also really loved Mirrors Edge although that may be because I played it on the PC and didn't have those flow-breaking turning around problems.

I enjoy COD. They're all horrid, slimy piles of industry destroying filth, but they're fun. At least I never actually BOUGHT any of them.

Penumbra (by the same guys that did Amnesia: Dark Descent)

The first level is the best horror game level I've ever played, featuring you facing off against a wild dog with nothing but your pants to piss in and 1 extra stick of dynamite (if you're feeling really lucky and have excellent aim/timing. Otherwise, you just get your face eaten)

The next level unfortunately, is filled with dogs and crates you can drag around and climb on. Just stand on the crate and beat down the dogs with your new found pick - and they can't touch you. Absolute shite from there on out, but still one of the most memorable games I've ever played

Perfect Dark: Zero.

To many it's a pile of filth that has no reason to bear the Perfect Dark name. To me, it's a great FPS that provides plenty of fun as long as you don't try and pay attention to the story.

I really enjoyed the Lego Star Wars games and I am in no way a kid (or have a kid or a younger sibling). Everyone makes fun of me for that...meh.

Edit: Now that I think about it, it's the first Star Wars game that I've liked since X-Wing vs Tie Fighter...then again I skipped a lot of the Star Wars games since I generally don't like them.

I greatly enjoyed the Xanth video game, though that is before a lot of people's times... Recently? the Transformers video game. Weakness for 'em back when I was a kid, and I enjoyed it. Good? no, not really.

Tales of Legendia, usually called the worst Tales game. It's been known do destroy your reputation in certain circles by saying it wasn't that bad. It's defiantly not the strongest tales entry but the combat is enjoyable and the characters are fun. So why hate it when there's the perfectly shity Phantasia remake to hate on.

Deadly Premonition (which should be no surprise as everyone who can recognize me should know that I pimp the hell out of that game).
I wouldn't consider it bad at all (just poorly executed gameplay/graphically), but the obvious general consensus is that it's crap.

I actually ended up liking too human, I had to start up several characters and get to level 20.
CoD 3 had some interesting levels were you played along the french resistance, which were pretty cool.

For me, there are a few I could mention but only those few.
If I don't like a game / think it's bad it goes to the big hard drive in the sky (and depending on the copy protection subsequently off to ebay) just as soon as I've checked to see if there is a patch that makes it playable.

ArmA 1 & 2 - although I know I'm not alone here, I also know both games have a huge fanbase - I honestly loved OFP1 to death but ArmA 1&2 have been unplayable for me from the outset. Mostly game performance was the culprit, even though my rig trounces the recommended specs twice over.

Alpha Protocol - as others have said, broken gameplay but the dialogue system and the choices you make are fantastic, as is the story. No wonder Bethesda snapped up Obsidian.

Starship Troopers - no really they made a game! terrible in most respects but I have the same blindness to flaws with this that I do with the films (the first one atleast). Great fun I thought :)

Prince of Persia (2009 I think) - ubisoft's failed attempt at a reboot for the series, shortly before the film and subsequent sands of time redo were announced. Got bad reviews, was on sale for a fiver 2 months after release... I actually found it quite fun. Has its flaws and yes it is repetetive but it was a good thing to zone out to. However if you get this for the PC, it's only playable with an Xbox controller. don't even try the keyboard, it's awful.

I think that's it - any others I think are bad just get deleted - my list of those is much much longer :)

p.s Too Human should get an honourable mention even though I returned it prematurely (rented) because I got frustrated with the controls and apparently digital learning cliff required to play and actually kill things.

Alpha Protocol.

I loved the gameplay, thought the story was well done and really loved how your actions and converstations really had impact and weren't just superficial (is that spelled correctly?)
Only thing I didn't like were the graphics, but I don't care about those so that was easy to ignore.
I will go one step further. I consider, without any trace of irony or humour, Alpha Protocol to be the best damn game EVER. I love it that much.

I maintain that anything bad Deadly Premonition is completely intentional, which obviously makes it a masterpiece.

Cell Damage Overdrive on the PS2. Apparently it was considered to be a bad game?
What? It was amazing! Especially if you had 4 people and a multi-tap!

Also Mirror's Edge. Apparently widely regarded as bad, but I liked the idea, and subsequently the game. Doesn't hurt that I picked it up for £5!

In my personal opinion, the force unleashed 2 was an amazing game that was disappiontingly short and could have continued for another 50 hours worth of gameplay if they added a few more levels. I am dead serious. Pelt me with you hatred now.

Pretty much everybody I've ever asked hated or hadn't heard of Xenosaga, but I really liked it. Even though the plot was incomprehensible at times.

It's a technicality, but horrible by popular vote.

Here's a question, I also like Alpha Protocol, but what's so bad abot ti that makes it put in a list with games like Two Worlds and 50 cent bulletproof? I thought the game got a lukewarm reception not an awful one?

Also I liked Clive Barker's Jericho. First off at least part of the reason I liked it is that one of the characters look almost exactly like one of my old history teachers. I totally admit the game has serious issues, but it' a blast to play with other people around, and goes surprisingly well with the album discovery by Daft Punk
