I don't know about "king" anyways I have been looking into bad company 2 and while the weapon detail and what not are not on the same level as "MW2" I still think the game brings a lot to the table , 1. Destructible buildings I loved this on the new red faction, 2. Vehicles, 3. from the sound of it its got a similar system to Mw2 as far as leveling up and what not, will it become a "king" probably not, will it be fun? If its anything like an upgraded Battlefield 2 then yes more than likely.

A.) People ITT are saying the same things about MW2 that they did about the Halo series. I heard over and over "This new game is going to be the Halo-killer!". Halo and MW were both games that didn't expect the level of popularity they received. Then they released a sequel, and it was pretty much divided into "With this amount of hype no game could ever be good enough" and "I love this series too much to worry about any flaws." And the "Meh." crowd, of course. It will happen again and again. Half-Life 3 will be in production for years as they labor as hard as possible to avoid this, and people will complain about the wait, even as they complain about the other games that were released too early.
B.) BC2 will have it's foot in the door right off the bat if we don't have to pay for quality weapons. It was basically what sunk BC1 for me before I'd even played it. Complain about MW2 having you shoot Russians in a prematurely short storyline with a Multiplayer dominated by people doing something other than shooting or by staying glued to dual shotguns, but at no point did they ever say "You must pay this much to get the rest of the game we didn't include because we love jerking you around and charging extra."
C.) e2density, if you want to be taken seriously, don't use "Fag" as an insult.

Does a special commity of people more fit for judging a game than the average gamer do it? Or does it just have to be a game you find fit for the title, or is it just your general dislike for the game, that makes you not acknowledge the only objective meassurement (that i can think of) for the title of king.
I simply wouldn't label something as "The King of Blah Blah" because there's no way to prove that statement. I often say something is "the best", but that's all opinion. I think it's fairly safe to say though that many, many people find MW2 to be incredibly disappointing. Especially if you compare the multiplayer to Call of Duty 4, which in my opinion is one of the best games of all time.teisjm said:
