You are the head writer/developer for Mass Effect 3. For years Bioware executives have abused you, forced you to work 80 hour weeks, paid you far less than you were worth, perhaps even picked at a physical issue to humiliate you in front of your peers etc. For years you've longed to quit but couldn't because you had no other marketable skills and needed to support your family. However, yesterday you won $40 million dollars in the lottery, far more than you could ever spend. You drive right down to Bioware to quit, but realize you want more than freedom, you want REVENGE. So you keep your winnings a secret and resume business as usual, but now you are trying to come up with something that will piss off as many fanboys as possible, turning people away from Bioware/EA for years to come. What is it?

My ideas:
-Tali is genetically male with gender dysphoria and is living a lie with the female suit and fake female voice. This is revealed and he becomes Shepard's same sex romance option.
-The Reapers true motivations are benevolent and they want to transport humans to a land of eternal pleasure or something like that.

Turn it into a total Gears of War clone without any of the things that made the first two games great.

2. Legion is killed and the geth never appear in the series again.
3. ASSUMING CONTROL OF THIS FORM.
4. Batarian romance option 0.o

Wait, so I'm the head writer/developer of ME3 yet I have no marketable skills?

Personally, if work conditions were that bad, I would finish ME3 for my resume then leave for another company where I'm sure I'd get a job (or use my new winnings to form my own company).

If I wanted to ruin ME3, I would make it so that near the end of the game you have to drive the Mako through space, ramping from asteroid to asteroid to get to the Reaper mothership so you can blow it up and save the universe.

Other then the Mako being incredibly hard to control and the jumps needing great skill to make, if you happen to miss and die during the mission, you get the bad ending where everyone in the universe but Joker dies and then your save files from Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 are all erased.

If you manage to get through the final mission without dying, then Joker dies from friendly fire by Shepard, who blows the Normady out of the air because he presses the wrong button in the Reaper ship to blow it up.

The game turns into Gears of War and has even less RPG elements than the last.

reapers win because as it turned out sheppard was a reaper all along and you have to kill off your entire team and personally kill everyone.... or just do it like normal and sue the shit out of EA for all the games profits.

Take out all the RPG elements under the guise of making the game "more accessible to people) and make it a straight up linear shooter. No side quests, no loyalty missions, and no picking your own dialogue.

Tali and Liara are killed in another attack to the Normandy, Garrus becomes indocrinated and kills half the crew, including Kaidan and Legion, Mordin spreads accidentaly a disease that kills half the crew, taking is life, Jack´s, Miranda´s, Jacob´s and Samara´s, the Reapers destroy Earth and transform humans into keepers mk.II and finally Shepard wakes up in a future psiquiatric hospital, and everything was a dream, with no morality system or one only choice whatsoever.

P.S.: First, I would need to release alucinogenic gas on the Bioware Headquarters so I had a chance to get this shit approved)

Replace every character in the game with Elcor.

That's what would cause me to rage anyway. Extremely angry: I fucking hate those things.

Bioware is Canadian, and they wanted to represent I guess.

I'd go on a tirade about how Bioware as a whole makes roughly two-thirds of your proposed lottery winning every year and that taxes would take roughly 20%-33% of that 40 million and that the head writer/developer of the team responsible for the game would probably be a well-respected/paid person, but that's not the point of this thread, I suppose.

So On-Topic:
As the writer: Remove the "neutral" option from Shepard's dialogue options completely Remove all dialogue options completely, make every returning squad member the polar opposites of their established personalities, kill off Tali before ever revealing what Quarians look like, and have Shepard's only romance option be the absolute most annoying character on the entire team.

As a developer: Make the planet scanning option from ME2 an even larger part of gameplay this time around, and have combat go into a Final Fantasy XIII-esque "pocket dimension" where everything is done through menus and you have no actual input on what happens, remove all side-quests and make the core story half as long as ME2's was (which would be half-and-half writer/developer, actually).

I could probably think of a few more things, but that's it from right off the top of my head.

EDIT:

Actually, after seeing this I'll add another thing to my "As a developer" part:
In addition to the planet scanning being a huge part of the galaxy exploration, let's say something around 45% of the "gameplay", another 45% will be driving the Mako around with even worse controls than from Mass Effect 1, and then the last 5% EDIT: hurk, 10% will be the aforementioned "pocket dimension" combat or just moving down linear corridors to the next plot point.
