Any opinions on either the team, the game against the Saints, or why it's such a travesty they even made the playoffs?

I live in Washington, but I don't really care, I'm just along for the ride. (It is nice to finally win a big game...)

Fun fact: Unless the Seahawks win the Super Bowl, they cannot finish the season with a winning record.

I for one am looking forward to the Patriots doing to Seattle what the lions (the cats, not the team from Detroit) did to the Christians.

Not gonna lie, them making the playoffs with a losing record is a bit crap, but the system is set up as it is set up and as a Raider fan thats had teams from my division make it at 8-8 I can't say much.

NO should of went in and takin care of business but didn't so good for Seattle, but I think the fun ends next week cuz I'm pretty sure they are going to get dealt with.

I love it so much. Coming in to the playoffs with a losing record then defeating the defending champs? Spectacular.

I won $400 on that game, so I'm happy.
Plus, if the Packers win, my Bears get to crush the hopes of everyone in Seattle.

except beating the defending champs really doesn't mean much. Only one team in the past 10ish years has repeated, and at least 1 time the champs didn't even make it back to the playoffs the next year.

Yeah, but id an 11-5 team, loses to a 7-9 team, then they definitely deserve it. Thats why I love the NFL playoffs.

On a side note, love that the Colts are out, and love even more I get to see my Steelers stomp Baltimore AGAIN.

As a Falcon fan, seeing the Saints fall in a historically bad way is rather schadenfreudetastic. Just hope the Falcons get a chance to pick them to shreds in the Georgia Dome.

I was rooting for the Rams to win the division instead of the Seahawks but I'm just glad that New Orleans is out. I'e hated the Saints for years and though I'm glad that town got a championship last year, I don't want them to win it ever again.

You are correct.

OT: I thought it was hilariously ironic and a big middle finger to all of the people who said they shouldn't have been in to playoffs. I like the Saints and all, but I'm glad the Seahawks won. Lynch's run to basically seal the game was amazing. 7 broken-tackles. That was insane.

What with that rather embarrassing moment in the Superbowl not that long ago.

Friend is a Packers fan, and I want a Packers Steelers (my team) super bowl.

OT: I dont think the Seahawks should have even made it. If it werent for that dumb rule about the division leaders getting in, they wouldnt have had a chance in hell with an Under 500 record. AND they got a home game. Screw that, they should have to play on the road, every game, with the other team getting a 14 point lead. But thats just me, and for no real reason other then picking teams, I wanted the Rams to win, cause they were the little engine that could team, what with their QB and all.

Besides, the Saints are over rated on the whole. If they didnt have Bush and Brees, they'd be another obscure team, like Tampa Bay.
