Friend is a Packers fan, and I want a Packers Steelers (my team) super bowl.

OT: I dont think the Seahawks should have even made it. If it werent for that dumb rule about the division leaders getting in, they wouldnt have had a chance in hell with an Under 500 record. AND they got a home game. Screw that, they should have to play on the road, every game, with the other team getting a 14 point lead. But thats just me, and for no real reason other then picking teams, I wanted the Rams to win, cause they were the little engine that could team, what with their QB and all.

Besides, the Saints are over rated on the whole. If they didnt have Bush and Brees, they'd be another obscure team, like Tampa Bay.
Haha thats my Super Bowl prediction too. And I'm a Pittsburgh fan too... maybe we just both think Greenbay is the only worthy opponent?

Anyway, I definitely would have rather seen the Rams too, but too many people think that means they should root against Seattle. Its still an underdog team, and I'll root for them all the way until the Superbowl if they make it. Which they would undoubtedly lose.

HAHA, almost tricked you. XD ButI understand, I'm more of a Hockey fan.
:D

Now, hockey I love! It's like the bits of football (and across the pond football) that are frowned upon (beating the shit of each other) :p
It's hilarious to watch :D

I'm from Minnesota, so I fucking hate the Saints and I'm glad they lost. Cheap-shot motherfuckers. I hope their hometown gets hit by a fucking hurricane.

I... apologize.

Maybe, though I think the Bears would give a good match Or even the Falcons. Though I have to admit, another chance to embarrass the Seahawks in the Superbowl would be cool. Thats why I'm hoping the Jets beat the Pats, cause I dont know if the Steelers can take the Ravens AND the Pats in a row. Though... if you put the Ravens in the NFC i bet they would be in the playoffs and superbowl every season. XD the NFC is a weak conference.

Well, its more then that, but yeah. Pens and Preds for the Cup XD. I know, thats probably not happening, but the Pens are my home town and favorite team, while the Preds are my primary team in the West.

all I can say is this: BHAHAHAHAHA... *straightens tie*

now then, if phili wins tonight (as they should), the seahawks will get crushed in the dome (why yes, I am a falcons fan, how could you tell?).
then, phili (led by vick) will get in the dome at the NFC championship game, and all shit will fly... most likely the game will end with my tears...

Seahawks? I never heard of anyone mentioning the team, much less someone with high hopes.

All I hear of is the Steelers and the Patriots.

I won $400 on that game, so I'm happy.
Plus, if the Packers win, my Bears get to crush the hopes of everyone in Seattle.
as a seahawks fan, I've no delusions of them going all the way.
would be epic though, if for no other reason then the dumbfounded look on every ones faces when 'seahawks' and 'superbowl champions' are used together ( calling it now, they do win, people will die from heart related reasons)

i'll take them beating the saints. laugh and keep my expectations low for the next game

About what? ou said you enjoyed hockey, so the Pens (penguins) and Preds (predators) are two teams in the NHL.
I enjoy hockey, I just rarely get to watch it, so unfortunately I haven't really got a clue what anyone's on about. Americans do sports a LOT bigger and better than we do really.... :/

Ah.... sorry then. But thats just the American/Canadian league. I have no idea outside of it really, like in the Russian league.

Well they certainly match the definition of Wildcard this year. I doubt they'll go much farther than they have now though.

The Saints played like it was a nothing game, it didn't come as much a surprise.

The saints have been my team since I was born and when people learned I was a saints fan they always made fun of me, and when the won the super bowl, they actually kind of hated me so I get a lot of crap for liking them.

Doesn't really matter, Pats are unbeatable this year behind the greatest player in the league, the golden boy Tom Brady.

I think The Onion summed it up best with the most recent sports headline:
"Saints Lose Bye Week".

if i had a dollar for every European/Australian here that has said something to make America look bad I would have enough money to balance the economy

Steelers stole our Superbowl. We're going for this one!
This,

I'm still fucking bitter about that... Fucking Roethlisberger was down, the ball was underneath him and he was a good yard and a half from the fucking endzone

It's nice to get into the play offs despite the rough (horrible) season we had. Also FUCK YOU ALL WE'RE GOING ALL THE WAY[footnote]it has been a rough few years to be a Seattle fan in any sport so I feel entitled to be overly optimistic[/footnote].

Even though Vancouver lost to Detroit, we still got a point because it went to overtime.
Go Canucks!
