I live in rural Westmeath in the middle of Ireland.

I don't even think there is any famous monuments in Ireland!
Ireland!?

You have slipped up Furburt, now I am one piece of information closer to finding you, and shutting you down.
It says it on my profile.

In fact, my address and full name is on my profile!

It's not exactly a secret!
..You're name?! Fabian, you have really outdone yourself.

Uhh? About a two hour drive to Six Flags Magic Mountain as well as Disneyland? *Shrug.* We don't have monuments here in Southern California.

I live in North Wales... there's nothing here. [small/]Nothing[/small]

Actually, I suppose you could count Mount Snowdon, that's fairly nearby.

Alamo, about an hour away. San Jacinto, about four hours.

The Alamo is reeeeally underwhelming, by the way.

well the only monument in Denmark people know is the little mermaid statue, and I live ½ the country away from it, granted it's only an hour on train but still.

I'm maybe about an hour and a half to two hours away from the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, a monument to how badly we can create a hall of fame to something that often has nothing to do with Rock and or Roll in the slightest. Ooo, I can't wait to spend $22 to see Mick Jagger's sweaty pants from a tour that happened in the 60s! And I can only take pictures in the lobby, and not of the hordes of crap you have behind plastic display cases? Sah-weet! Bearing in mind that Cleveland has produced no well-known rock stars, to place a hall of fame related to that style of music there is like putting a huge statue of Elvis in England.

That skyline-raping needle in the middle in Dublin? It's not quite world-famous yet, but it's only a matter of time before cracked.com lampoons it.
