When I signed up for Runescape way back yonder, I didn't know the character limit, so for both my user and my pass, I made them absurdly long and random so I wouldn't forget. Afterwords, I just cut out some of the random words and added some numbers, because apparently it's required to have a number in you pass, and just oreopizza was taken. The user and pass have stuck with me ever since. Some of my friends even call me oreos.

Purely by random I typed "Tiyans" when I wanted a name for a character in a old game.
that name then changed to Siyano because I felt it sounds better and wierdly link to a french dramatist (Cyrano de Bergerac) since then I kept it for most of my stuff online
Otherwise for character I tend to create "Asian" sounding name
Shinzou, Yanmoto, Ziania, to name a few
