There was something about Colonel Victor Hoffman from Gears of War that I really liked, and to this day I'm not sure why I like such a cliche so much. Regardless, I think it's funny that he's old.

I used to play a game where the bots were named CPU## (cant remember the game name) I used to use CPU04 to confuse people but ended up switching to CPU47 because of people would yell at me. I used this in a free to play MMO but ended up switching to Cpu46 because I screwed up my character. I stuck with it for everything since.

The song that I had on at the time had the word Carpathian in it, and I was eating a muffin.
The two went really well together.

One time I was playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and I got shot into Last Stand. Pulling out my Desert Eagle, I proceeded to kill 7 enemies before I bled out. After doing so, I proclaimed over Xbox Live something along the lines of "OH YEAH BABY! I'M A LAST STAND MAN!" Followed by a series of Mike Tyson quotes.

But that's besides the point, I got it from looking at a Scrabble board.

I really like the story of Icarus. So i tried to type in something like that and it said name taken. So I took the first 4 letters then added on a latin/gothic Esque sounding suffix "ion".

Uff Back in high school I had two friends called Laura. To differentiate between them I had their numbers written as Laura D and Laura St. After high school they moved into halls together and had the same number so i wrote that down and put Lauras D+St. At some random point I thought hmmm a band name. Which was Dust.

Meanwhile, on a seemly unrelated topic I love accents and Russian accents were a favourite. Sometimes when we're drunk my friends and I put on foreign personas for fun and my "character" was Vladimir.. He needed a surname. So Dustov popped into my head. He's a transport chopper pilot and so is always ready for -dust off-. I know, in my defence it was funnier in the bar at the time.

Mine is the same as my username for everything, which originated from my Xbox Live Gamertag, which is the product of combining a cheat code from the game Full Auto and my username from RoosterTeeth.com, "10893," because someone already had "Magicman." The cheat code was naming your xbox profile "Magicman" to unlock all weapons and cars, very old school style cheat code right there.

How did you come up with your username? mine is named after Snake from the Metal gear solid games it was meant to be Solidsnake10123 like my psn and youtube name but i added a extra zero.
It is my XBox Live gamertag, and when I was coming up with that, I decided wanted it to relate to my love of Doctor Who. The Doctor uses his sonic screwdriver as one of his main problem solving tools, so I combined Sonic and Doctor to get Sonic Doctor.

Though I didn't think of the ramifications. Several times when I was playing Halo 3 multiplayer last year, I got asked if I liked Sonic the Hedgehog or if I was a doctor.

I like it because it is one of those unique and clean names that I see so few of on Live, most names are cluttered with numbers and little and big X's framing them, like xXdont#&*@sam931Xx. Then someone like that asks me to send a friend request right as they leave the game. They expect me to remember that kind of gamertag, especially when I don't study them that closely, and I don't have a reference to find their name.

pretty sure that was tom cruise dude
I meant the last 'legitimate' Samurai. I didn't really consider Cruise's character to be a full Samurai.

We have this chant in our rugby team which we all swore we would never write down, but at the end we all shout, "We're mean mother ruckers!" (I didn't write the whole thing, so I'm safe)

Ruck sounds like the eff-bomb and it's what we do in rugby (ruck not the other one), and my coach calls me it, so now it be my name, matey. Arrgh.

I have the ability to ride a unicycle, but I haven't in a good while, maybe two years. Unicycles have one wheel. Hence, onewheeled.

As a child, I'd always put my age at the end of usernames. So I'd put 8 or 10 at the end, but for some reason the number nine just stuck. Soon I got in the habit of putting it three times at the end of usernames, don't ask me why.

In the end, onewheeled999. I've been using it since I was like eleven.
