How did you discover The Escapist?

A guy compared my game rantings as very similar to Yahtzee's then sent a link to one of his reviews. I've been a fan of Yahtzee and the Escapist ever since.

My friend introduced me to zero punctuation which then led me here. Although it was another few months before I actually started using the forums.

It was a matter of weaks for me.
I come for the ZP but I stay for the debates, Urealms and Unskippable.

Unfortunately, like everyone else, a friend told me about ZP, and hooked me to the site. Of course, just like World of Warcraft, doing goofy videos online, playing DnD and other random shit, said friend left/stopped watching leaving me only to entertain myself with Yahtzee and LRR's vids (ENN and Unskippable).

I followed one of the IMDB links in January to an article listing the top ten television episodes of 2008. For whatever reason, the ZP Brawl episode was among those listed. And the rest, as they say, is history.
