How did you first end up at the escapist?

Well I saw a link to Zero Punctuation review of Medal of Honour Airbourne and then I started to come back every day to read the latest gaming news and reviews. After a few weeks I joined the forums, and the rest, they say, is history. 3 years and 5000 posts later and The Escapist is my favourite website.

Actually a weird story. I'd been watching that Irate Gamer show, y'know the tubby guy trying to be AVGN. Anyways, I saw this youtube video entitled "Wild arms" 'cause I was looking for some wild arms 3 gameplay. Turns out it was about -Wild- -Arms-. A man's arms are out of control and he starts typing on his computer that Irate Gamer is better than Zero Punctuation. From there on I went ahead and checked ZP... Now I drop by this dump every single wednessday.

Similar situation to yourself, stumbled across the Zero Punctuation videos (as many people who are here now did) and have stayed here, not only for them but also for all of the other great content on the site.

Unlike you however I check in on the escapist several times daily =D

Well I'll tell you now most people will say ZP. Anyway I came here for ZP but stayed for the forum and other videos like De-Rez which is not runnign anymore and hasn't been for awhile. Anyway if it hadn't been for the forums I would of left here long ago as I have become disinterested in ZP especially that peopel think what he does are reviews when they are critiques but that is a little borderline OCD pet gripe of mine.

I used to be into EVE Online back in the day, and the CEO of my company told me about a web magazine that did a big feature on EVE that issue and had lots of other interesting articles. This was I think issue 35 or 36 of the Escapist? I've been reading it off and on ever since then.

If I remember correctly I found out about The Escapist when someone linked the ZP of EVE Online in corp chat. I had a pretty good laugh, checked out Yahtzee's other videos, laughed some more, discovered some good forum threads and here I am now
