I got wise around age 7, just a guess really. I asked my parents, and they said he wasn't real. They never really tried too hard anyway, they didn't like the whole shenanigan either.

we never ever believed in Santa, for us Santa was my granpa giving the gifts from the exchange in christmas eve

but we do believe in the 3 mage kings (how do you call them in english??) Melchor Gaspar and Baltazar
The three wise men.
really?? the three wise men???...

...

...

i like my countries version better, it states that they are Magic... and Kings!!
Well they are technically kings, but they are more often referred to as the Three Wise Men, and are really only called Kings in song.
hehe, in my country they are called "Three Mage Kings" or "Los Tres Reyes Magos" to be more presise, and they are "always" refered as kings in every single piece of literature about the subject over here

its quite interesting how things change from place to place isn´t it??

Its not uncommon, especially here, and especially not with something like the bible. For the number of versions and edits that that book has undergone, I can't honestly say I'm surprised.

It is interesting though.

Well I...OMG SANTA'S NOT REALZORS?!?!?...realized things like
1) Fat guy+Chimney that I don't have=WTF?! How'd you get in here?
2) He'd need to deliver to billions of people. In one night. And set up their presents. And eat cookies and drink milk.
3) He has to work all year in the...You're still reading this? Really?...

Fine I'll stop but to get off-topic a bit Miracle on 34th Street is fun. They have some really compelling arguements that SANTA DOES or CAN EXIST!!...You've never seen the movie...You monster go watch it now...I'll wait..

I was never indoctrinated into the Santa myth - although I was told that it was a game that other children, and their parents, liked to play and thus I should not go around telling the other kiddies that he was nonexistent.

Logic...the same way I figured out God doesn't exist either
Ahh but you can explain why things happened with Santa (i.e. your parents give you gifts) but how do you explain the universe 'just happening' hmm? Bwah hahah...

I reiterate the fact I found out by logic because...The holes in santa's theory is like the holes in the Fable stories...Or swiss cheese...Or the Church...(Get it holy? Har har!)

For me it was when ruldolph didn't eat the carrot i left for him :(
What if Ruedolf just doesn't like carrots? Ever think of that, eh?

I found out because my parents told me so that I would get some sleep instead of staying up all night waiting for him. Sigh.

When in a episode of The Simpsons that a gay character told us that in Japan that Santa is called Mr. Giftman?(Not 100% sure that's right) and lives on the moon.(Defiantly right.)

Age 10 or 11 my friend went to me "you can't honestly believe he can get to all those house in a single night"

After that doubt and a very very very slight understanding of physics did the rest

Annual gift man I believe is what the Simpsons call him; not sure if that's what he actually goes by but that episode taught as so much already that we can forgive this one transgression if it's wrong

My mom never let me believe he was real. I never got that disillusionment. Got really confused in kindergarten though, when my teacher made us write letters to Santa.

When I was 9 or so, I went snooPING AS usual around where my parents hide stuff and saw a gift with a "from santa" tag on it and realized the horrible truth. Though by then I had known something was up when I noticed that Santa Claus's handwriting wasn't the same from gift to gift.

My parents never attempted to make me believe in Santa. I was honestly shocked when I found out my friend believed in him when I was seven.

Course, woulda been hard to convince me when they always took me christmas shopping with them, and we celebrated at two different houses each year.
