TMNT on the original Gameboy. NES,SNES, 64, etc. followed.

But, I think the game that really got me into video games was Zelda: A Link To The Past... it was all over after that...

Tetris, of course.
It was on a magnetic tape, on a home made computer (if you could call it that way).

Ahh, the memories :)

Two ways to answer this.

The first game I ever played was Rambo for Commodore 64. Must have been like 5 and dont really remember much of it except that loading screen which really stuck to my mind. It instilled an eternal rage towards loading screens in my mind which still remains. It is too much to ask for a 5 year old to wait that long to play some rambo..

The first game I played which had the opportunity for sex in it and I chose to use it was Fallout 2. Just skipping through a dialogue with a mob boss' wife and suddenly the screen fades in to black and back in at a different location with the woman laying on the bed sleeping and my character stripped next to the bed. "My god! I think I just had sex." I realized and felt like such a man til I realized that next I would have to fight her husband and 3 storeys of his lackeys since I failed to talk myself out of it.

Those were the days..

I was almost 4 when I was exposed to Red Alert 95'sometime after its release.
That's the best approximation. I was born in 93'.

Super Mario and Duck Hunt at the young age of 4. It didn't belong to me though, so I'd look forward to weekends.

Sonic the Hedgehog, with the Sega Game Gear, though I was younger still, and didn't understand what I was doing half the time. When I truly began to learn and play, it was on the N64 with a mix of Mario Kart, Super Mario 64, and Duke Nukem 64. Man DN was scary...

**edit** 4 for the Game gear, about 5 1/2 for the N64

I was 5. On my 5th birthday, my dad and cousin went out in the middle of the night to bye the new console and 2 games. On the morning of my birthday, I went to the basement to find a shiny new game console. BEST DAY OF MY LIFE

I believe it was either Wolfenstein or Doom for the PC... or was it Warcraft 1? It was defiantly one of those three.

Command and Conquer. I was 5 or 6 at the time. This was followed immediately by unreal tournament, I played online alot and kicked alot of ass. Didn't know consoles existed until a couple months before gamecube came out

The first game I ever played was Super Mario World on the SNES. But I was about 3...so it wasn't really gaming.
I didn't really start gaming until Goldeneye on the N64 when I was 8

Pokemon Red. I spent all day trying with my 6 year old brain to figure out what the hell "SAVE" meant.
