It was on the original Donkey Kong game, where you're Jumpman and you're trying to save your girlfriend from an angery ape. And you're a carpenter, not a plumber. I'm talking about that game, and I was 4 at the time. My uncle would take me to an archade where he would play, and he let me take a turn every once in a while. But that's the first video game I ever played. Then of couse I played Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda.. all those games that I would get for Christmas or my birthday. The archade machine looked pretty much like this, but it was red instead of blue.

I remember playing one of the Dragon Quest games for the NES. I'm pretty sure they were both used, I'm 19 right now.

When I turned eighteen a couple of my friends pitched in and bought me a... Oh, wait, gaming virginity. Yeah, I was broken in with the NES. My big brother would sit me on his lap and let me play with the second controller so I felt like I was doing something and at the same time wasn't ruining his high score.

Super Mario on a friends NES. Was about 8 or 9 I think. This lead to me getting a SNES, followed by a Playstation and the rest, as they say, is history.

When I was younger, my parents would always take me and my brothers to a friend of theirs, and start doing their grown-up, eat, drink and talk thing. We, that is, my brothers and I, young as we were, didn't really care about that, so we were bored out of our minds. Fortunately one of the sons of my parent's friends was a bit of a computer geek, and was always playing Warcraft 2. Ow how we stared at that screen in amazement. We were probably annoying as hell to him, but we didn't realise that then. Everytime we would just watch him play, and ask about everything. Then, finally, I think he got sick of it and burned us a copy on a CD. That was the first real game I ever played, and it was awesome! I still like RTS's for this very reason.

Wow, that story turned out to be longer than I thought it would:p
