I first came up with something similar but modified it into this.

SUPERman, BATman, Power RANGER. I took the aforementioned parts of each name and smashed them together. Voila, superbatranger.
Dis username I originally created for games or things that don't allow numbers in your username. It's also complete gibberish but sounds funny. Originally created for Maplestory but i've stuck with it. It's my second choice of a name when something along the lines of "Riku" is taken or I dont feel like adding numbers.
I wanted "ineedscissors61" to be my username on PlayStation Network, but since this is a pretty popular reference to Metal Gear Solid 2, it was taken. So I dropped the 61 and made it "ineedscissors". I joined the escapist some time after that, and to simplify things for my tiny forgetful mind, I used the same name. Now, it is now my go-to alias for all things internet.
Basically, my sister's old band was called Simalacrum, before they changed the name to Silent Evolution (and since broke up)... I thought it was a cool name and therefore nicked it 
Social menace has been my default Internet name sincve before I had a type speed more than about five words a minute. Of course, as with pretty much everything it's taken so I just plopped the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything on the end and hey presto you have yourself an Escapist.
I'm a meteorologist in training (getting my degree now), and "Atmos" is often short-hand for "Atmosphere".
As for "Duality" well...plain Atmos was already taken.
Though I have a running gag in one of my old tabletop games where I get periodically possessed and go nuts. Hence the dual nature, or "Duality". Think Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

I was trying to come up with a clever username for another forum, and I thought I'd succeeded with this one. Now I just stick with it for everything because I can't be bothered to come up with anything else.

Shadowflame is a long-time name I've used for over a decade. It was the name of the first character I ever created, because he had the ability to create black fire and it sounded cool.

back when I created my acount I was big on anagrams and I was also really excited about the (at the time in future) release of Halo 3 ODST, but I didn't wanna name that would make people think I was a Halo fanboy(which im not) so I took ODSt and decided to add it to my name. AgDr came is anagramed what most soldiers probly think when a new guy joins thier squad "a god Damn Rookie!"
