My boyfriend and I are probably the nerdiest couple I've ever met. But we didn't start out that way.
I was always a closet gamer, and was ashamed of being a nerd. My boyfriend opened my eyes to different kinds of games. He would play occasionally (note: occasionally) and I would watch. I would get really into the stories of games, and he started to buy me games he knew I would like as stocking stuffers, etc. Just small little presents. I started to play and love the games he gave me, and the gift gave back to him lol. We started to play co-op games together, play online, and basically just talk games.
Here are a few we would play together:
- guitar hero (chances are she's probably played it before)
- Resident Evil 5 (easy shooter, you don't have to use both sticks at the same time...walk, stop, shoot)
- Mass Effect (play apart but talk. If she's into stories this could be a great starter)
