Isn't it obvious? they invented a machine to do it for them :D they love to tinker, as we all know.
I think there is a slight diference between midgets and gnomes, though I might be mistaken.

My father's a midget. The answer is: they don't, they have average sized friends, relatives, or in his case, wives, who do. :D
What about the ones on TLC? They're like entirely little people.

I think there's a forum member who's a midget. If he's still active, he'll probably enlighten you.
My money is on blankets that are proportional.
yep thats me.
i just fold them as best i can
And there you have it.
Are they smaller blankets, though? Or do you go through the rigmarole of spreading standard-sized [that sounds offensive, but it wasn't intended to be] ones on the floor and working that angle?

Reminds mr of how much I hate having to roll up sleeping-bags..

It seems to me they'll just fold them like any other person - maybe takes a bit longer.

Next you'll ask how a lefty uses a remote control - when the power button is all the way on the OTHER SIDE!!!

Even though this is "Off-Topic Discussion", this question might be a little TOO off-topic. But I can't get this question out of my head.

How do midgets fold blankets? Furthermore, how do they put fitted sheets on their mattresses?
excuse me for a second.
*walks out of the room*
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!
*walks back in*
What was your question again?

The question has been answered, people. Although I can't say whether @Lang901 speaks for the entirety of his demographic.

I'd like to thank everyone, especially Lang and Iits for answering the question. I'll have another weird question tomorrow. For now, I have to write an essay.

No, the essay is not about midgets folding blankets.

The correct answers are either adorably or terrifyingly, depending on your view of midgets.

Well, have you ever tried to fopd towels while kneeling or laying down... or am I just lazy.

As for putting them on mattress... um very funnially?

First, I read the title as "How Do Magnets Fold Blankets?"

That brought a hilarious image to my brain.

As for the actual question, I wouldn't know. I do know that, as a 6 foot tall man, even I have difficulty changing sheets of my enormous bed.

I roughly fold a big blanket, then stand on something to sort it out. Between the fold and my increased height, I'm able to fold king sized duvets. Bedding can be big, so I don't think height really matters after a certain point.
Exactly this. I'm 6" exactly, and I have a king sized bed. Doing the doona (or duvet, as others call it), I still have to use weights to pin down corners as I crawl around on the inside. As Erana said, after a certain point, height is mostly irrelevant.

If I have to use ingenuity to do it, when I'm taller than average everywhere in the world (with the exception of the Netherlands, the freakish giants), then I don't expect it's much different for people considerably shorter.

To put Duvet covers on more easily, place the duvet cover inside out over your arms, so that you are holding the outside corners with your hands. Then grab the duvet inside's corners through the covers' corners, and then you can just carefully pull it down over the duvet stuffings.
I'm not sure if I explained it well, but Fuck yeah, the Martha Stewart show. :3
