I roughly fold a big blanket, then stand on something to sort it out. Between the fold and my increased height, I'm able to fold king sized duvets. Bedding can be big, so I don't think height really matters after a certain point.
Exactly this. I'm 6" exactly, and I have a king sized bed. Doing the doona (or duvet, as others call it), I still have to use weights to pin down corners as I crawl around on the inside. As Erana said, after a certain point, height is mostly irrelevant.

If I have to use ingenuity to do it, when I'm taller than average everywhere in the world (with the exception of the Netherlands, the freakish giants), then I don't expect it's much different for people considerably shorter.
To put Duvet covers on more easily, place the duvet cover inside out over your arms, so that you are holding the outside corners with your hands. Then grab the duvet inside's corners through the covers' corners, and then you can just carefully pull it down over the duvet stuffings.
I'm not sure if I explained it well, but Fuck yeah, the Martha Stewart show. :3
I understand what you mean. I'll give it a shot next time I do the washing, but I think it's a matter of whether or not my (admittedly freakish) arms are long enough.

And the only episode of the Martha Stewart show I saw was the one where she teaches you how to make home-made knives out of everyday prison implements. Hurr hurr hurr!

this = brilliant.

Love it.

I bet midgets never suffer from having to share a single bed and having it not be big enough

Everyone knows that midgets operate in packs. Packs of roving, feral midgets folding sheets.

What? Have you never seen charlie and the chocolate factory?

But not fitted sheets. Life is too short to fold those fucking things.

Even though this is "Off-Topic Discussion", this question might be a little TOO off-topic. But I can't get this question out of my head.

How do midgets fold blankets? Furthermore, how do they put fitted sheets on their mattresses?
The F$%K?

anyways... Midgets are like smaller version of normal people. They use a full size bed and put sheets on the same way we do. They also fold blankets the same way.

I have never laughed so hard at a thread title or opening post.

But seriously, just like everyone else I guess. No different to you or me, except for hight (although I do struggle with my 5ft-ness sometimes :()

They probably just bunch it up or roll it into a ball or something like that, not good if you're a maid or part of a house keeping service, but it will do. Or perhaps they just use smaller blankets.

Oh, she can get pretty dangerous looking. You should see her with woodworking tools.
We all know we're learning domestic tips and tricks from a ruthless businesswoman, that's part of the fun! :D
