How do you answer the phone?

"Hello" when I don't know who's calling. "What's up?" when it's my family. A mixture of "Yo" "howdy howdy" and "hi" when it's a friend of the same sex. When it's a member of the opposite sex, it can be any combination of the above, but with a smoother, more velvety tone. When it's work, it's almost always "What do you want?"

Mine is normally a hello, but occasionally it's a "Yo." or "Sup?" I am quite boring.

Same here, though I reckon next time a friend or family calls I may answer in some humourous way, if I can be arsed to and if I can think of anything funny or witty to say. Which I usually can't. Huh.

Usually I just say "Y'ello" or if the call just woke me up I say "Yeah, what is it?" to anyone calling.

I am not a morning person by any standards.

But usually I go for calling my last name.

I'm a huge prick when it comes to answering my phone. I usually answer with a hearty "Hello?" in a monotone, dull voice. An ex-girlfriend calls my house a lot, and I answer with "What the fuck do you want?" Something about having someone I don't like calling constantly gets really old really fast.

I start with my secretary voice, then if its a friend I switch to the hip teen voice if not I keep it in secretary voice.

depends usually yhello (pronounced yellow) or i mess with peoples heads an do random stuff (diff language, act like ansewring machine, weird accent, hello kids help line (crime stoppers, police, fire department etc)if i answer first and if its a telemarketer i have a couple ways of answering it. "make it quick my gf's o r gasm (not sure if that words allowed) not gonna last long, sure just give me a sec and put the phone down and leave it there (they called me its costin them money) or if theyre askingfor some one else i fake cry and say they died yesterday
