How do you answer the phone?

Generally, it's just 'hello?'. Or if it's my mobile and it's too early, '...mmrph.. 'lo..'. Amazing, I know.
On my mobile, if I can see who's calling, I'll generally answer with their name. If it's my girlfriend or close friends, it's generally an affectionate title. Confuses my family. XD

My girlfriend used to answer her home phone by reciting the phone number, then saying '-her last name- residence', then 'Anntoinette speaking~'. It used to drive me goddamn nuts.
I eventually got her down to just the last part, after me getting smacked on the back of the head for laughing at her many times. Thank God. XD

EDIT: Also, wow. I watch GhostBusters for the first time in ages, and suddenly BAM, references everywhere! Makes me happy~

it really pisses most people off, but when i answer the phone i say; "yeeeelow?"

I get people trying to case our house regularly, so I answer with a hello usually. If i don't hear a reply within about 30 seconds to a minute, i yell down the phone at them, in order to deafen them.

Whenever someone I know is calling, the answer ranges from incoherent mumbling to "...Yeah? What do you want?" but when the call is coming from an unknown number, I answer with my full name.

I answer, say "Bye", and hang up. Then when they call up I say "Thank you for calling Pizza Hut can I have your phone number please?", which is exactly what Pizza Hut says when I'm ordering.

Me: O, okay.

Man, if only I can go back in time and stop myself from doing anything stupid.

My friend answers "Pizza hut." For a few days I said "Is it safe?" Other than that whenever I get a phone call I'm too pissed off to try to be funny.
