How do you deal?

How do you deal with your anger or frustration?

I tend to either bottle it up, or lash out violently. I tend to start fights when I can, or break/steal the possesions of people who provoke me. If I think the person to be at all insecure (which being in high school, everyone I encounter is), I will attempt full psycological destruction of the target.

What sorts of things have set you off?

I end up doing absolutely nothing about it. Will this hurt me someday? Probably. Do I do it anyway? Absolutely.

It doesn't harm others, therefore it is good.

My bottle still has a bit of room left before it overflows although there have been the occasional leaks wherein i lose it for a split second and usually end up harming someone close to me.

I was really hoping this thread was going to be about blackjack...

Personally, I fire up some speedcore [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8deW6sg2mps] and have an angry dance.

Dude, you sound like you need some counseling.

Combination of yelling and rationalizing after bottling it up for a period of no less than 24 hours.

I don't stay angry for very long most of the time.

Thank you for the concern, but you failed to answer the questions.

Tying pedestrians to moving cars in Just Cause 2. That vents rage pretty well.

EDIT: I'd go see some counselling, beating people up is all fine and dandy but if they haven't done anything to you then it's probably an issue

It depends how mad I am. Usually around of breaking shit in Mercs 2 or Red Faction: Guerilla helps me, but a little alcohol can go a long way as well.

I try to keep calm until I can get to something that'll cure up the stress, like a nice couch or game or DVD.

Why does everyone tell me to go to a headshrinker? It hasn't worked before and it won't now. Besides, I only fight people who provoke me.

I play counterstrike and if I get angry because of some idiont in the game, I still have a little ball filled with sand which I can throw at the wall.

I save it until I can get to a stress reliever. Whether it's games, music, or the next person that gets on my nerves.

When I get angry I usually do something that will physically tire me out, rock climbing or some parkour. If I can't do that then I meditate.

As for things that set me off... usually I'm pretty tolerant, it has to be someone who really annoys me and I can't get away from. We're talking a few hours of them continuously annoying me, or if they hit me while I'm intoxicated. That will send me absolutlely insane with rage.
