Milk and honey is best for coffee virgins (for lack of a better word), it cuts the bitterness and adds more flavor and sweetness than sugar while still keeping the coffee taste.

I don't drink coffee. I stick to tea, strong and with two sugars- a man's drink. Also goes well with biscuits.

Its an acquired taste. I started with cream and sugar. Now depending on my mood I either have black or with cream. Never sugar anymore. On a side note, Tim Horton's Pumpkin Spice Coffee makes me happy in ways I cannot describe in polite company!

Usually I don't have coffee at home though. Tea or seltzer water, both unsweetened, are my drinks of choice at home.

How do I drink my coffee?

Seriously though, I drink my coffee in a non-existent kind of way. Otherwise known as "not at all".
I hate the damned stuff. It stinks, it tastes foul no matter what you put in it and the caffiene addictions some people get from it just annoy me.

And while I might be English, I enjoy tea about just as much as coffee.

Give me soda and juices/squash any day!

Same way I like my women - strong without being domineering, slightly bitter but not deliberately mean.
...or in English: milk, no sugar.

I drink my coffee black and luke warm because I am a depressed 20 something with hipster glasses and am a full time coffee drinker. Without it, I function at less than optimal levels.

Go with strong coffee with plenty of milk (or cream) and sugar. It's quite good, the milk and sugar mellow out the bitter and if it's strong enough of the nice coffee flavor remains. Personally I'm not much of a coffee drinker (only when I go out somewhere and nothing else looks good). The smell of coffee though drives me nuts, I love it.

Black coffee to me seems like an acquired taste.

I'm a bit weird with my coffee, which no one seems to get, I make it really really strong, but then add loads of milk to it, for some reason I really like it that way.

I don't use boiling water, as it burns the coffee and makes it taste really bitter.

No way. I choose to get my caffeine from pops. Coffee taste nasty but then again, I live with a family who drinks only black coffee.

Depends how my mood is, though I generally go with just plain black, though it's always terrible if you get it in a coffee shop.

I drink mine with the standard 2 cream but no sugar. If I do sweeten it I usually use honey. Its sweeter than sugar and healthier for you.

My advice would be just experiment a lot. Try with a lot of sugar, no cream. Lots of cream, no sugar. A bit of both, or a lot of both (I don't recommend that one though :p) You'll eventually find the amount you like or that you don't like coffee at all. :p

it's usually 1 of 3 ways, either it will be black with sugar, very milky with sugar, or a large double mocha (damn you university, and your energy saving! why did you take my costa coffee machine away from me?!?! that used to warm/wake me up in the mornings and now it's gone...i may have to cry...), simple enough really.

Come to think of it the majority of the drinks i drink are caffeine based..coffee,coke, dr pepper, basically any fizzy drink, i'm abit of a caffiene fiend.
