Music mostly, Pink Floyd, Tool & The Mighty, Mighty Bosstones work the best for me. I just need the time to calm down & plot my revenge.

I bottle them up and then release them with usually games like Grand Theft Auto or Saints Row (Of course I wouldn't do shit like that in real life, that'll just be plain evil and I can use other games its just that those ones are most effective), if not I usually listen to music, go on the internet or practice my swordsman skills, and going to my best friend's house is a good idea if he isn't the source of the anger.

Usually I tend to get rid of all of it, but there is always a bit of anger in me and I use it for really bad situations. (Good thing nothing like that has happened so far)

Walk outside and scream as loudly as you can for as long as you can.

Its absolutely amazing how cathartic screaming can be.

That or go play some Serious Sam and play some Amon Amarth.
That really works for me.

When I'm angry, I stop being angry, and be awesome instead.

True story.

Or you know, listen to music or something.

I use it - it helps me focus, be more effective. Supressing it is silly, you are only expending energy to supress a different kind of energy, effectively weakening yourself. Be in control of your anger, don't let it control your actions and you can utilize it in any way you wish. The same applies to any other powerful emotions.

Head down to the shooting range, Play my bass or video games. Of course my gun and my bass have time constraints so video games win at night.

I pace back and forth while venting my issues to whoever will listen. Either that, or lie in bed and talk to myself.

I like to go out on my mountainbike. I get a strange kind of anger sometimes, because of my Diabetes, it's like I know I'm extremely pissed off, I can practically taste it it's so intense, but being fully rational the whole time. It's not your typical anger, where you might not even realise your mood.

But for any type of anger, riding it out helps me - excercise gives your brain something to focus on, and gets your blood pumping properly, so your body can better deal with whatever is making you angry. Seriously, I never feel more at peace than when I stop at the bottom of a steep hill that I just gunned down :). I live near a lot of woods and countryside, mountainbiking through woods is pure therapy for me.

Sometimes, I just remove myself from the scenario that's making me mad and force my mind off of the topic.

Other times, I practice percussion. Most people assume that beating the crap out of an instrument is cathartic, but I find using it as a creative outlet to be far more effective.

Some percussionists I know pretend that certain drums represent people that piss them off in order to play louder.

Shooting range
you and I need to be friends.

shooting range, sparring during my martial arts class, going on nice long hikes through thick forests without trails
I see no problem with this. What do you shoot, whether you're pissed off or not?
on a nice day i take my 12gauge and take out clay pigeons. when its cold my friends and I will go to the target master and ill pick up something different every time. i own a .222 and like handling other bolt action rifles or some beefier handguns. some friends of mine have let me use their m4 (one of my favorite used guns so far). also, my best friends dad is range master at his police force and hes let me use his on/off duty pistols and personal firearms and crossbows he goes hunting with.

Shooting range
I wish I knew where a shooting range that is close to me is.(Ialso wish I had a gun that isn't a Nerf gun, but those are expensive and I am broke) However, without actually doing research, I can only assume that the nearest one is anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour away.

If I'm mad while playing video games, I will usually either stop playing that game/game type and will go play something else, preferably something where I can blow the ever-loving crap out of almost everything and everyone in sight and maybe listen to some music.(I wish that I could get a chance to troll people on purpose like the guys who do [a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DZaJfdtVuI"]GoodGriefing[/a] every once in a while, but it seem that whenever I might have had a chance to do so I'm already pissed off and just get angrier. That and I never seem to run into the same kind of guys they do)

If I'm mad at something outside of video games, I usually only need to go away and cool off for a little while and I'm fine.

I get angry and shout at people till I'm not, occasionally throwing things around. Fuck getting rid of it or letting it go, I'd rather just get angry.

I swear a lot or suppress it. Then when I am all bottled up and can't take any more I watch a fun movie or TV show.

Or also plan murder into great detail in order to make it 100% possible to execute it and almost impossible to find out it actually was murder. However that's the psychopath in me.

I don't really get angry very often, at least not to the point where I feel like I need to do something to calm down.

That being said, I do go to a kickboxing gym quite frequently and regularly. I assume I get rid of a lot of my anger on the heavy bags. I will tend to really dig into my punches and kicks on bags but not as much when I am working with someone on thai pads or sparring since I am not trying to hurt the other person

I also tend to listen to a lot of music so I am sure that helps quite a bit.

My life is pretty much just a constant string of anger, frustration, dissapointment and despair it all just kind of runs together after a while. So I do nothing about it.

Either swearing loudly and/or punching the nearest pliable object (usually a sofa or bed) or a nice soothing cup of tea.

One of my favourite things to do (that I don't actually do very often because it means I have to leave the house and it'd probably look weird if I did too often) is go to the park about ten minutes away from home. There's this massive swing-ish thing there that's kinda bowl-shaped so I just like to lie back in that and look up at the sky for a little while. It's so so relaxing.
