How do you get through to racists who have utterly dejected the term "racist"?

So. I stumbled across this video. It's a video for WHITE RIGHTS! Fighting for WHITE FREEDOMS! To stop "White Ge-NO-cide!" What a cute pun.


Watching it, I got sad, and then amused, and then sad again, and concerned, and after five minutes of it all I could feel was worried. These people have, in all sincerity, taken up the mantle of believing that anti-racism is actually anti-white. Like, they have convinced THEMSELVES of that. Also note that they've convinced themselves that apparently keeping whites out of black and Asian churches, communities, and countries is a thing. (I'm sure they can go wherever in the world they want to. They just don't want to. What with all the starvation and violent dictatorships 'n all.)

"They tell us, 'Africa is for the Africans! Asia is for the Asians! But white countries are for everyone!'"

So how... how do you talk to people like this? I'm convinced it's a kind of insanity - they have made up (or just poorly interpreted or inferred meaning from) arguments, argue against those arguments, and in doing so completely and utterly cement mistruths in themselves. How do you fight such things? You could ignore it, but others won't. How do you get through to someone who has built up such impeccable defense regarding people changing their minds?

Jokes aside though, have they actually done any research or is this all just speculation? Are Asian and "Black"[footnote]I 'm putting Black and White in quotations since I'm not sure if they're acceptable or if we're still using African American and Caucasian.[/footnote] churches actually forbidding "white" people from joining? Are kids being told throughout school these exact words "The white race was the cause of all the world's problems"?

A lot of this is a bit much but some is kinda true. My dad has to put up with a racist boss for example because the company won't fire him since he is black and could pull the race card and stir up a lot of issues. I also know people who have lost out on jobs because they are white and various other things. Though I wouldn't consider white a race but then again I don't consider black or Asian a race either since they are so broad and describe a bunch of vastly different cultures.

I didn't watch all of it, because I like to keep my sanity, but to some extent the idiots have a point. The entire concept of "ethnic pride = good" (manifested in hilarious concepts such as 'Black History Month' accross the pond) is completely a counterproductive sort of pride.

People should be proud of accomplishments, not of latent qualities.

That's how they get you. They start by making a bit of sense. And then they snowball it until they use - as you've said - the term "final solution" and "white genocide" without even a shred of irony.

That being the case, I don't think we should give them that point.

I think we can safely acknowledge their observational skill by noting that yes, it is stupid that some people are allowed to be proud of their colour while others are shunned for it. Where they become horrible idiots is the assumption that it is still morally right to be proud of skin (or gender, or sexuality).

Anyway, as a Dutchman I couldn't help but laugh when they mentioned Belgium and the Netherlands. I'd bet my cheese-eating windmill loving ass on it that these Southern belles wouldn't be able to find it on a map, even if it was ONLY a map of the BeNeLux.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not having a go at you nor am I supporting them. Ultimately though these people hold these values and beliefs and for you or I to actively try and force our own views on them makes us no better.
