I get it off of my Dad's Terrabyte drive with a bunch of music on it. Or internet radio.
That's a unique way, Ive never thought about internet radio much.
Try Pandora. You seed a station with bands and songs you like, and they take the elements of them and match them together to play songs you might like.

Pandora doesn't work for Canada :( Can I use your zip code? LOL

WireTap Studio will let you record any Mac sound. So a movie soundtrack, or iTunes radio station, then clip the result. (Naughty)

Audacity works for that too. It lets you record the audio going to your sound card, and then you can clip off what you don't want and export it as an mp3.

I buy all my music on cds. Sometimes I download songs to see if I like the band and then, if I do, I go and buy the cd.

I used to get some songs through the Internet (Metacrawler has an audio search function), and a couple off of iTunes, but at the moment, most of my new music is through audio CD purchases. I don't trust iTunes, and it's nice to have a tangible CD.

Mostly by legal means. Sometimes I can't find something so I dig everywhere until I find it. Where else can you find German war songs and stuff before the 1950's?

If it's a rich, established band, I'll download their stuff off Limewire. If it's a struggling indie band, I'll buy their album.

I got most of my music through Itunes, I would just download them for free(illegly) but I haven't found a site that I trust yet, I'm a bit paranoid about getting viruses. Maybe someone could recomend a trustworthy site where I might be able to "legally" get some music for a very good price.........

Used to be via various illegal means but since getting employment i'd far rather buy the CD, and do.
