How do you handle bullies?

Depends what sort of a person he is as to what will work. Have you ever squared up to him and really asked what his problem is? Pointing out the fact that he picks on someone weaker than him makes him a fucking coward usually works quite well. Other than that really take a good stab at him, i mean seriously, dont kill him but hurt him.

teachers dont care about you, i almost got stabbed once and all the teachers did was tell me to deal with it. i call them a bunch of raving fuck nuggets and then im in detention.

ADVICE: If you get angry enough at him, adrenaline and sheer rage will take care of the rest, just make sure that anger gets channeled into violence, sounds crazy but I've seen little guys maul bigger guys by just going animal, but remember he ahs to really piss you off

I was bullied until about midway through grade 8. how it came to an end was really rather easy.

Bully's only pick on those who don;t fight back. Seriously, even if you get your ass kicked spazz out on the fricken guy. Throw as many punches as you can as fast as you can. if you win, problem solved, if you lose, problem STILL solved cause there are ppl who are easier to pick on around.

Trust me - If I had a camera around me at all times throughout high school I would have enough footage to create a video called "When nerds attack", I've seen so many "cool guys" get their asses handed to them by smaller little dudes just because they were so angry nothing could stop them.

We've been half friends over periods. Half a year ago, he stopped teasing me, but then he started again for no fu**ing reason. He's not bullying me for payback or anything, he does it cause he's a tw*t.

Yeah, well, just make it really clear how annoying you find it. I had a friend who I used to tease loads but then after about a year he just had a massive rant at me for it. I had never realised I was annoying him so much.

Oh, this guy knows. I've made it very clear about how much of a pain in the a** he is. But he keeps doing it, just cause he finds it "fun" to annoy me. Doing whatever you want cause its "fun" without any consent to other people's feelings is the kind of behavior that will get you spat on on the streets and then kicked in the nuts. Unfortunately, justice is yet to deliver his massive foot up his ass.

I have a bully at school, who keeps kicking me, poking me, annoying me, and being a generally unlikeable f*ckhead. Whenever I try to tell him to stop, he says that it's my fault cause I used to kick him, but that was cause he was already annoying me and I was stressed out. So I can't tell the teachers cause he will use his stupid circle logic. And ignoring him doesn't help. Although I'm seriously starting to consider telling the teachers, cause I don't give a shit anymore about what the teachers think, it's not like they can lower my grades for it. I'm really starting to lose it and I've seriously though about changing school just because of this guy. And I can't avoid him, cause he's friends with my friends and he has the doggy determination to make my life shitty. My favorite moment would be when he's alone and I can kick him in the nuts with a cinder block shoe. My brother gave me a tip to hit hi in the spine so his back will twitch. Says that's a good way to annoy someone back. Or hit him in the face with a book, claiming he had a fly on his face.

EDIT: To clear things up, I'm not stronger than him. I'm very short, around 155 centimeters ( I think that's 5 feet, I'm from Sweden where we don't use that kind of measurement) and I'm not strong, at all.

dude, im only five foot five inches (168 cm), and no one picks on me cos they know i will fight back. fight back, and make sure its in an unsupervized area with lots of people who will lie for your sake. the guy picks on you, just punch him in the face. A lot. And when the powers that be try to persecute you for fighting back if and when he rats: get witnesses. i.e. the friends who will lie and get you out of it.

The only way to deal with bullies is violence. I've been through it before, and they listen to nothing but overwhelming force.

Beat him unconscious or something equally painful/humiliating and he'll leave you alone.

When i was younger I had the same problem.

this guy who was a few years older than me (and much bigger than me) used to pick on me for no reason whatsoever appart from the fact that i was much smaller than him.

Basically, I uppercutted him in the face and gave him a nose bleed. He cried, looked incredibly stupid and didnt tell the teachers because he thought I would do it again.

The next day, he was choosing which flavour of jam he was going to lick out of my arse.

That can help, and like you, I wasnt that strong back then. Just hit him REALLY hard.

If you could, I recommend beating the crap out of him.

Since you seem to feel that's out of the question (and strength doesn't equate fighting skill; maybe you should take up martial arts-I was always partial to Jeet Kun Do) I would recommend scaring him with somewhat transparent (depending on his stupidity; most bullies are pants so you should be quite obvious) prank that would scare him out of retaliation. Just make sure (especially if you're american) you're prank isn't grounds for a lawsuit.

I left my last school after attempting suicide several times, but that was because it was a pack. By pack, I mean the 120/125 that hated me. I still don't know what I did, as I mostly kept to myself. Maybe because the RS teacher told everyone I am Jewish, or maybe some other thing. They did make fun of me liking anime, which is pretty fucking stupid as many anime series/films are absolutely brilliant. Also, because I wasn't a raging homophobe (growing up with a gay cousin and all), they always called me gay when I didn't mock homosexuality. Anyway, I moved away. It may not be perfect (Hell, it might be, I mean it was for me), but it works.

Also, violence is the other option. IF you really don't care, go to the limit. Do something to earn yourself a bit of a rep as a nutter (I.E repeatedly kicking in the balls), and they'll leave you alone. In another school of mine, I was bullied, and one one occasion, chased up a tree. I then lashed out with my foot wildly, breaking the asshat's nose. Strangely, he left me alone after that.
Whatever. Anyway, telling the teacher won't work. Adults' hands are tied, and the kid will just get pissed with you, and hurt you more. Make them respect you, or just ignore the fuck outta them. Maybe hang around with big people. That also helps.
