Very true and a great point you brought up about the other battery animals. I've seen pigs like this as well. Aside from not eating meat, how can you avoid buying battery animals I ask?

It's not like factory farmed meat/eggs/milk is the only thing that's available. We always buy free range or organic eggs, same with meat and milk. It's not like if you want to eat those things, you're forced to support factory farming.

Anyway, so for me it's free range + scrambled. Hard boiled is nice as well, but scrambled is much more versatile.

I like them scrambled with paprika, parsley, salt, pepper. A bit of ketchup makes them perfect.
Add a side of toast and some baked beans and I'm in Breakfast Heaven.
As for which eggs I buy, I get the mid-range variant.
I don't want the cheapest ones (they're drenched in droppings), but the "eco"-version is too expensive for me. I don't really know where they stem from most of the time, but when I looked last time, it were free run eggs, apparently one step "below" free range eggs on the PC-scale.
I don't always buy the same brand, though, so I dunno if that observation is significant.

well im a student so i buy the cheapest of everything, sorry but if i start making exceptions ill end up goig as far as buying "in date" foods, and thats a choice im not willing to make.

Seriously, if you haven't tried free-range, they're fucking delicious. Worth the extra money.

I buy free-range, but because there are several local farms around me and they are all free-range, not because of any sympathy for the chickens. Because they are local they are fresher, and also end up being cheaper anyways.
