Can't go wrong with baked potatoes. When I got my hands on a Potato Express [http://www.buypotatoexpress.com/Default.asp?bhcp=1] (aka, the third greatest invention ever), I ate several pounds of baked potatoes in one week.

Was going to post something that shares a name with those (those look a bit more like potato skins to me).

Tried making them myself once, but they didn't turn out as well as I hoped (the potato filling didn't have much of a different flavor to them)

I hope to try to make them again soon. I mean damn, they look so good!

In my mouth. There is no wrong way to eat a potato, and asking me to pick just one is like asking me to choose between my children. And a potato. The potato wins.

I generally enjoy potatoes in any fashion (but raw). Can't beat a good helping of fries or mashed potatoes and a bit of gravy. Tubers are delicious. However, I don't tend to eat hashbrowns as much - still good though.

It's easier to ask how I don't like them.

I don't like them with meat. That's about it. Fry 'em, grill 'em, bake 'em, whole, diced, shredded, compressed....

The difference between that version of twice baked potatoes and potato skins is that you put the potato back in where you don't with potato skins. The only real difference between the two types of twice backed potatoes is the presentation. One uses a whole potato and the other uses half per serving. I prefer halves, but they don't look as impressive. Especially not if you use the tops as he did, to add height and volume.

I like my potatoes mashed and smothered in gravy with a couple of yorkshire puddings on the side.

And then because I always end up cooking too much I fry the leftovers for breakfast. Yum ^_^

I can't think of a style of cooking potatoes that I do not like. I had home fries for breakfast this morning...it was really yummy. But yeah. Potatoes are good eats.

I think the only type of potatoes I don't like are those god awful rehydrated potato flake mashed potatoes. Not sure if they should really count as potato though, they're more of a cruel mockery.

Whoever invented them could never suffer enough.

Anything but sweet.

Potatoes, for me, lend themselves very well to just about any seasoning or taste towards savory, but when you get into 'sweet' territory, it's just...BLARF...

Do you want them raw?
I hope not, raw potatoes are poisonous and can actually lead to coma or even death if consumed in large enough quantities.

As for the topic at hand, my favourite potato-based foods are tied between fries and jacket potatoes, I particularly like the latter with some nice grated Cheddar cheese on top.
*spittake*

What, is that because of all the potassium and aresnic in them? Stupid potatoes... I'm never munching on you again...

But I like them baked. Wedges smell ew.

While I am no big fan of boiling them or mashing them, I'll stick'em in a stew faster than you can say "hah, I got the referenc....."

Very true, Potato wedges are also amazing, though they are at their best when they are oven fried in some good oil.
Amen, I can't get enough of baked potato wedges. Just sprinkle them with plenty of olive oil, put any kind of herbs on them, little salt and voila; easy and delicious potatoes. You don't even have to peel them.

God I miss having an oven.
