Well i've lost 3st in 3 months just by changing my diet, i do fuck all exercise at the moment, apart from walking up 3 flights of stairs to my flat 2 times a day or so.

High protien low carbs, like around 25g or less of carbs a day, i havn't eaten bread, rice, pasta or potatoes in this time. At the moment i'm having 1 bad meal a week (bad for my diet) so i might have curry one night or takeaway pizza etc.
Well done sir! This is how you do it folks (though most people probably don't need to drop to 25g or less of carbs. Depends on the person though. I feel pretty good keeping it around 10-20 tops too).
Cheers bro, i was skeptical as ass when trying this diet but a mate recommended it to me and guided me to getting started. Once i got into the swing of things it's easy to follow, living alone helps a lot to as my evening meal is generally a chicken breast or a pork chop and a handful of salad =)

If you like your meats and cheese this diet really works for you ;)

Indeed. I used to try and eat more vegetable along with my meals and snacks, but eventually I came to the conclusion that since I didn't really like eating vegetables I just wouldn't unless I really wanted some. Most of the carbs I do get come from nuts and occasionally some raspberries or black berries now. Sometimes a glass of whole milk, but it's pretty rare. Haven't had any issues since cutting them either. I do supplement a bit for some vitamins just in case because I know the meat I buy at the store isn't going to be the greatest quality, but it seems to work for me. Plenty of energy, rarely hungry, no blood sugar spikes sending my mood all over the place. Quite a bit better than how I used to eat.

Well, I have issues with my weight. I am one of the surprisingly large figure of guys who have hellish body issues.

When I lost a lot of weight (40 kilos in about 4 months) I did so by eating a piece of bread every day. And a glass of milk. Occasionally I would eat fruit. I wasn't even really aware of how little I was eating and because most of my friends were male at the time, nobody noticed. My girlfriend half noticed, I mean, she admitted that she liked me at my reduced weight but yeah, she didn't bring up how fast I was losing weight. I dont blame her, we had only been together for about 2 months when I started losing it.

So...

Yeah, the way I lose weight is through starvation.

Getting some supplements is something i need to do, just keep forgetting about it x)

I was surprised how cheap this diet can be, get all my food from aldi/lydols and it costs me... about £20-25 to feed myself for a week =)

I don't lose weight anymore, I just firm up. Haven't been overweight since 2003.

...and I do so by swimming. An hour or so three times a week is all it takes, but I try to do it every day on top of the manual labor involved with taking care of ten acres of forested land.

Exercise regularly, drink a bit less, cut down on junk, smaller meals and plenty of fruit and water worked for me. How effective that really is I don't know, as even at my heaviest most would have classed me as a skinny rake still.

Like a lot of people in their late twenties, I put on more than a little weight. Over the past year I lost fifty pounds by running and cross fit. What do you do to keep the pounds off?
running does jake shit.
its good cardio and heart rate wise but what you need to do is weight training via burst training.

instead of steady 60 minute work outs a day, grab some weights and rip into it as fast as you can in 10 minutes, rest, than another 10 minutes. then stop.

feel tired as shit?

good, you body just started useing excess body fat and calories and insulin asadditional energy because you fooled it.

not only is burst training shorter, its quicker and builds up that muscle.
muscle actually burns a shit ton of energy just SITTING there and that the goal of burst training.
how ever, that doesnt mean to cut cardio off completely.

take it from a former fat bastard who hates running and lost 20 pounds in in a month.
shit sheds off like water on glass tables.

By not having enough money to eat 3 meals a day. Go student living!
Also, the subway diet works great, it's so expensive and tasty that I can't afford to eat properly!

I live on coffee and cigarettes at the moment, with food as an occasional treat.
Before someone gets all self-righteous and goes "AH HA! Cigarettes are why you can't afford food!" That's not the case, I got all my tobacco at duty-free long before.

I strecth yoga and medicine ball for over an hour in the evening everyday.
I also walk the dog a couple of time a week.
On top of that my work is busy as hell, so I naturally lost weight in the past few months.

Casual treadmilling keeps me at a steady plateau of 130 pounds, but I could really stand to lose ten of them. I blame my love of All the Bad Things at the Supermarket Ever (specifically diet soda and a weekly dessert).

I have a very strong sweet tooth and tend not to feel satiated until I've closed off my meals with something sweet. Fruits usually work, but sometimes I get this really raging need for good old processed bullcrap for future diabetics.

Oh, and I have this yearly ritual of buying exactly one pressurized can of whipped cream per year, and making it last by taking little nips from it every once in a while. Or friends come on over, and we pretend we're still teens with insolently active metabolisms and guzzle long shots of the stuff down.

I've been watching what I've been eating. I eat Oatmeal every day (No sugar, no fruits, got all the fiber I need), I get two cups of Coffee with Sugar, and I drink water damn near all day, and when I don't drink water, I drink either Milk with Lunch or Dinner, or Earl Grey Tea with very little sugar.

But I have also been doing firewood lately, which causes me to sweat a bunch, and it has been showing: Two months ago, I got on a scale, and I read 259 Lbs. Four weeks later (Let's say), I was 239 Lbs, and then a week ago, I read as 233 Lbs.

Of course, I don't sit at the Escapist as often as I used to (I still do, just at an hour at a time), plus I have two jobs and school. I can stand to lose another 30 lbs (I'm 5' 10") or so (My dad says I could be at 184, which would be scary, because I've always been fat since Grade School, Weight loss is a radical and scary process for me).

So, that's me. Just stay active and eat right and decent proportions, is my advice.

Absolutely nothing.

...To be honest, I'd be much better off with a little more weight. Pretty damn skinny.
