Well, I just decided once again to ask another question just for curiosity and to see other opinions as well:

How do you Organize your Games/Movies/Comics/etc you experienced over the years?

For me, it was very interesting:
At first I just started just writing in a doc file every single thing I ever done. One for movies, one for comics, etc.
Then I realized this wasn't enough, because I wanted also to look at pictures of the games/movies/etc I experienced. So I decided to look for a site. After a long search I found the site Listal.
At first I wasn't very positive about the site, because it have many different kind of problems, but after a while, I get used to it and I love it.
But then I realized my backlog I had it was even more bigger than the things I did. So I decided to create a list for them as well. Sadly Listal wasn't very fast for my needs and I decided to look for another site. Lucky me for finding the site Pinterest.
The perfect site for me to keep the things I want to see for later really fast. just a click to the picture, save in a file of your account,BAM FINISHED! Piece of cake!
And finally and only just recently, after I saw Listal site is a little bit "slow" for my needs as I said, I decided to make the things for me more simpler:
I just created a file for each kind category I wanted and I just put the pictures of the movies/comics/videogames I saw. Quicker, easier and I have always a backup if something bad happen.
I still use Listal of course, but I think I will slowly abandon this place in the future. Pinterest still the perfect place for my backlog!

So, please tell me what kind of methods did you use or still use to organize your things?

Cheers!!!

The only thing I actually keep organized is my CD collection. In the most basic form of being alphabetized. Other than that, my comics and manga are just sitting around my room in a pile. My bookshelf is organized by series. I do try and keep authors together, but Glen Cook is the only author I own more than one series of. My games are organized by series as well and I keep my PS4 games in their own little corner.

Pretty much everything is alphabetized.
The Boys go on a separate shelf however because those books, not in thickness but height, are actually too big to fit with my other comics.

Books are organized by authors and centuries.
Movies I alphabetize.
I don't have very many games so I just stack them.
Comics are organized by whether Batman's in them or not.

Don't really have enough of none-games.

Arrange games alphabetically to an extent.
I also arrange them by their console and series, including mini-series.

For instance my order goes CoD 4 > MW2 > MW3, then WaW > Black Ops > Black Ops II whereas my Silent Hill 360 games go Homecoming > Downpour.

I have my dvd/blu-ray collection alphabetized by genre (Action, Comedy, Drama, etc.) then again by title starting with numbered titles (8 Heads in a duffel-bag, 300). When I had multiple systems I had my games alphabetized by system then title.
And I have my physical books alphabetized by author's last name then by title or volume number if it is part of a series.

But what about the films that are sci-fi or fantasy? Or what about sci-fi/horror games. In other words a mix genre?
I have a huge problem about this myself...

I don't really have any physical copies of music. That said, my playlist still stays somewhat organized by genre and origin.

I have a 2 x 2 shelf bookshelf, so books are organized on two axes: optimistic/pessimistic, sci-fi and realistic (present-day) fiction/ fantasy and historical.

As for videogames, it's just based on how likely I am to play them.

Comics, I use the idealism/pessimism thing again. You know, Kingdom Come on one end, Watchmen on the other.

Movies/TV shows, I just stick with alphabetical order.

Comic-books I alphabetise and then go numeric (when I buy a series, I tend to buy the whole thing).

For movies, I'm pretty lax but I tend to keep franchises together (the bonds, the marvels, the "whatever" trilogy, etc.). Same goes with tv series, I only care to keep series together but no cohesion after that. The only real segregation is between my anime and everything else, as well as between the DVDs and Blu-Rays.

For games, no organization for physical, digital ones I have in alphabetical on GoG and alphabetically by publisher on Steam.

For books, none what so ever.

I file a mixed-genre movie under the more prominent genre. For example, 'Shaun of the Dead' is more of a supernatural (what genre most of my horror movies fall into) movie than a comedy so it goes under supernatural while 'Hot Tub Time Machine' is more comedy than sc-fi/supernatural so it goes with comedies.

I always run my discs alphabetically, with the only exception (at the moment) being the placement of the Hobbit I with the other Lord of the Rings films. In terms of book series, I tend to group them together by author.

Once, when I was in class and had nothing to do but listen to the teacher,[footnote]and fuck that,[/footnote] I started listing the manga titles I'd read, just on a whim. I'd list the name and the number of volumes I'd read. I kept adding new manga titles to the list as I kept reading them. Back then I'd read about 500 volumes of about 100 titles. Now it's about 3250 volumes of about 700 titles in a new notebook I got to have room for them all, and that notebok is my most cherished possession.

Movis and Games: Roughly Alphabetical with a Chronological and/or Series overriding Hierarchy structure. Basially A-Z unless its part of a set which takes priority.

Books: Series and Author.

Comics: By year and series, or continuity... whichever I feel is more important.

For games: Sorted by platform -> Completed / Not completed -> Alphabetical
Movies: Blurays first then Dvds. Both alphabetical.

For both series order overrides alphabetical order.

Books: Completely haphazard but most are the wifes and that doesnt bother her like it does me....

I have a cabinet for games, a cabinet for DVDs one for blu rays and one specifically for anime (which I ran out of space in about 6 DVDs ago) I also have shelves specifically for books, everything is arranged alphabetically and where applicable by series/franchise

unless they are nostalgic or special editions I usually throw out a lot of my PC games cases and just keep the discs in sleeves...even though most of them are on steam anyway

comic books I put on shelves randomly...I dont have a lot of physical books but the few I do (fancy hardcovers) I leave around my desk for asthetic reasons

I keep my games alphabetized and separated based on console but that's about the only organization I have. I have a list of every game I own, be it a physical cart/disc or, a digital download. Games that I've beaten are under-lined but some that I've beaten in the past but have since lost the save-file aren't underlined because...of...reasons. I dunno...it isn't like I show my list off to people...it's for my own satisfaction...hm...

Wait, are we talking about the Garth Ennis series? I've got those too, and mine aren't bigger than other comics trade collections.

The very same, I've got a few of those big bad Definitive Editions.
I'm not reading a whole lot of series, Fables, Y: The Last Man, and Preacher squeeze in nicely but The Boys is about an inch taller than the shelf.
