My trademark style is "get lost and backtrack through linear levels" In half life 2 i spent FOUR FUCKING HOURS trying to get past this floodgate, only to realize at some point i got turned around and i was trying to get back the way i came.
Exactly how I do things. Especially in Bethesda games.Psychosocial said:First time I just wanna get through it.
After that it's pretty much exploring.
You need the dictionary to know that the plural of a word ending in -y is -ies?ErGo said:The question is simple, do you take your time, explore the enviroment, think of strategy's(typo, but I'm not gonna go open up the dictionary for that...), or do you just run and gun trough the game(figure of speech obviously, I don't mean just first person shooters)? Or do you have your own style of how you play?
When I started gaming, I was more on the "just get trough the game" side, but now I really like to pay attention to every single detail of the game, exploring as much as possible, thinking of the best way to get from A to B, etc. It just adds to the game, you get more time out of it and its more fun.
Well english isn't my main language so I'm still not perfect at it.Clashero said:You need the dictionary to know that the plural of a word ending in -y is -ies?ErGo said:The question is simple, do you take your time, explore the enviroment, think of strategy's(typo, but I'm not gonna go open up the dictionary for that...), or do you just run and gun trough the game(figure of speech obviously, I don't mean just first person shooters)? On topic, I'm not much of a completionist. 100% completion isn't my thing. I'm more about discovery, exploration, and overall experimenting. I'll quicksave, do something crazy, see if it works, load do something else that is crazier, see if it works, load again. Games like Arkham Asylum are perfect for this (let's see if I can take down these 5 thugs using only inverted takedowns!)
Same here. I want to play the story before I get to the heavy trudge of exploration.Psychosocial said:First time I just wanna get through it.

Ah, I see. Sorry about that.ErGo said:Well english isn't my main language so I'm still not perfect at it.Clashero said:You need the dictionary to know that the plural of a word ending in -y is -ies?ErGo said:The question is simple, do you take your time, explore the enviroment, think of strategy's(typo, but I'm not gonna go open up the dictionary for that...), or do you just run and gun trough the game(figure of speech obviously, I don't mean just first person shooters)?
