How do you pronounce Vita?

Is it just like, Vita? As in Windows Vista without the "s," or Veeta? Or Vighta? Like in the beginning of vitamin?

Besides, the Japanese "i" is equivalent to an English "ee".

That's a sign of bad marketing when people start threads to figure out how to pronounce a new product. Then again, what do you expect from a company who's PC's are called "Vaio"? Heck, first time I saw that logo on a PC with its funky font, I could only suspect it was a word, but had no idea how was spelled. I almost thought it was some odd symbol.

Well, it's a Latin word, so you pronounce it as you see it.

Vita ... if you go to the its origins in Latin... (which lets face it is where i comes from and is a latin word) means "life". Now in keeping with the Latin the pronunciation would be We-ta .. V in latin makes a W sound and the I in the Vita is long so it would make more of a long E sound in English.... then the ta is just like in English.

So there you go... if you want to sound cool and pronounce the Latin word correctly have at it now.
