And that would be me.

As i've said before, i've been shot, stabbed, blown up and been in more fights than I could wiggle a kitten at.

I've been in pain thats incredibly excruciating and while it does hurt like a *****, for some reason it pisses me off.
...blown up?
Not "literally" as in limbs flying everywhere.

I was in a troop transport truck in Afghan that was hit with an RPG (rocket propelled grenade before someone asks if Final Fantasy attacked the truck). Made a hell of a mess of my left leg and fortunately that was it. Was thrown off the back and came to the realisation that when it comes to hitting the floor, i'm about as graceful as a limp lettuce. Just kinda belly flopped, cat like reflexes I do not have. Still hurt like fuck though.

All I can recall from when I started shooting at the prick that hit us was being incredibly pissed at him for ruining a tattoo i'd recently got on that leg. And shooting from the position i'd landed in gave me a bruise the size of a bloody cabbage on my shoulder which annoyed me aswell. Even worse when my youngest daughter was with my wife visiting me in hospital and she kept poking it ... bloody kids.

OP: Mix between 1 and 8. A while ago my mom accidentally hit me in the head with a porcelain plate. Pretty hard I might add. She was flipping out saying how sorry she was getting the only reaction from me of "Mom it really doesn't hurt that much." I had to sit down, but I had quite the adrenaline rush. Hurt later though.

Depends. Severity of the damage has nothing to do with the amount of pain felt really. There's been lots of research to suggest that tooth ache hurts more than having your arm blown off.

The most severe injury I've had is my head being cut open (skull didn't break though) which poured with blood (minor artery was cut) and had to be stitched shut but none of it hurt at all. Meanwhile ingrowing toenails were absolute agony and the slightest imapct with them was followed by an eruption of swearing.

My nervous system is a bit screwed up, and I react to light stimulus worse than heavy stuff.

It also means I'm more likely to whine more about bashing my toe on something than from a major wound.

I got a massive quad tear a couple years ago and was up walking around on it because it didn't seem to hurt severely enough to merit much caution. Give me a paper cut, though, I'll whine like a toddler.

Whatever pain I have, I do this.

Why? Because it feels good and it annoys some people. :p
Can't believe it took so long for someone to post this. I expected it to be #1 or 2.

Though in all honesty, I was gonna post the one where Lois fell and hurt her boob.

I have trigeminal neuralgia and I've kind of got used to *that* pain otherwise I couldn't function at all. Other pain is more of a curiosity, makes a nice change from the stabbing agony.

Although I almost always laugh if I hurt myself badly for some reason.

Do you still have your leg? Did you get the tattoo redone?

Did you kill the ************?

Extreme pain just kind of stuns me. I don't freak out or rage, but I get stunned/go in shock for a little bit, then shake it off. I have a really high pain tolerance, so extreme pain mostly just surprises me and throws me off. I'm not used to pain that I can't just shrug off like I normally do, so it's a bit shocking when it happens.

Kind of a, "Wat. Wat. What just happened what is this I don't even... Wat?"
"...Oh. Okay. Fuck. Okay, this is... okay, right then, time to deal with this. I can deal with this. Suck it up, self."

I usually wince or cringe and/or start swearing profusely. That seems to always make me feel better about it.

I usually fit 4 and 5 since i feel the pain for a few seconds and then my body would lockdown for a few seconds before i get the sensation to move again.

Eh, for some unknown reason I seem to be unable to feel pain in my arms. I mean, I can feel impact damage, but anything on the skin layer is just a vague sensation. Handy.
Otherwise, I'm pretty good at redirecting pain and ignoring it, wipin git over with BRAIN POWER. Unless it's really intense, in which case I am less than pleased. Because intense pain does hurt.

I'd say number seven. If I get hurt, I shout all sorts of obscenities relating to the Christian diety and various sexual reproductive body parts, or I just scream.

Depends

If its pain that I know I can deal with, I just try to keep a straight face and close it off internally.

Otherwise, I swear.....A lot....I mean, really a lot...Like drunken sailor with tourrettes levels of foul-mouthedness

i basicly ignore it until it becomes disruptive, then my reaction is to remedy the issue. this song sounds so familiar.
