How do you reason with religious people?

Well my girlfriend is christian so whenever she mentions god I shove my hand down her pants until she shuts up xD

OT: Just tell them that you don't believe in God but then if they don't stop deal with it like any other problem. A boot to the head.

I don't get involved in religious politics nor do i take any sides in a religion vs religion, religion vs science or a religion vs athiesm debate.
If i have an opinion i'll voice it when it needs to be heard, other than that i won't disturb peoples peace for some self righteous gratification.

If people are genuinely happy with their lives then that's all that really matters, if i'm faced with someone who's attacking me for my beliefs or trying to convert me i'll respectfully remove myself from the situation while stating that i have my own beliefs and i'm happy with them.

If me and a friend get into a religious conversation i'll always issue a disclaimer at the start ... something along the lines of "hey before this goes any further, lets agree to halt if we see any chance that this could develope into an argument"

The rational ones I just talk to like any other person, I.E. most of my friends and family.

The irrational ones...just back away slowly. No sudden movements.
