Used to go with disposable blade razors, a bit of water and shaving cream, followed by a soothing aftershave lotion. Then my GF bought me an electric razor for my birthday and the entire process has gotten a lot simpler...

Once a week I go to Great Clips, say "I'd like a beard Trim with a #3 clipper please." Angle my head up and read the paper for 5 minutes. About the time I've finished the front page, the woman clipping my hair and evening out my mustache puts a warm wash cloth over my face, I give her 7 bucks plus a tip and walk out with a good looking beard.

Before I did that, I used disposable razors, shaving cream and aftershave.

Electric, because I do not trust my own hands holding a razorsharp knife next to my artery.

The manliest way.. with a chainsaw!
Not true. There is a MUCH manlier way shave: with a BEAR

shaving is something i do every six months, since my facial hair grows abysmally slowly.

I'm disappointed no-one has made any pube jokes yet....ah well.

'TRIM' is the key word, for down there. invest in a TRIMMER. Not a RAZOR/SHAVER.
not necessarily. :D

I shave dry, with an electric razor before I go out in public, which isn't very often.

EDIT: Woops, bigger picture than I expected, sorry for taking up your screen space.
that chain looks like it needs tightning...

OT: i use foamed up cream; start with one run with grain if it's been a while, but go on to a 2nd run against the grain.
like a real man, i finnish with a sharpened rock with animal blood as cream.

Assuming you're a male, and old enough, you have to get rid of that useless face-hair every so often.

Whats your preference? Electric or bladed razor? Dry or wet shave? Do you buy into the post- and pre-shaving rituals we are being told we need? How often do you shave anyways?

All my friends electrically shave, dry, everyday. I've used a blade and shaving foam since I was taught to do so all those years ago. And obviously I think I'm right.
First off, kudos to your avatar. I love To Love-Ru too!

I use a wet shaver. I can't stand those huge electric ones. -_-
It is the shiz. Im reading Ane Doki and thats pretty similar...possibly even just as good.

2-3 times a week using a regular razor. The electric razor gives me wicked razor burn but has a pop up trimmer that I use...

Excuse me but girls shave also *huffed face*.

I like to make sure under my arms stay smooth using a disposable razor.
Shhh, we guys like to live in ignorance...

Ahem. Hahahaha, silly lady, girls do not have body hair, how rediculous, what what.
Aww poor ignorant boy... well im afraid to say these things you must know, unless you want a hairy girlfriend lol. Then again, how do you think us girls like seeing guys with thick under arm hair... not nice. Instead of shaving your faces, why not those areas also... As for anyfurther, i wouldn't dare lol.

Electric every day since it grows quickly and it's just more effective this way. I always trim it though. I have never liked having a beard and think it would take too long and look too creepy most of the time to try it. Most guys my age should be shaving more I because most of them look more like creepy neck beards that are not as awesome as they think/say they are.

I'll try for a beard in a couple years. But right now I prefer either smooth or shadow

I stopped shaving regularly almost two years ago. Once I stopped giving campus tours for my college and no longer had to worry about job or grad school interviews, I decided it wasn't worth the trouble. I trim my short but complete beard back with a hair trimmer every few weeks, but I never use a razor anymore (which was a Gillette Mach 3 with Edge shaving gel by the way).

I shave electrically, dry, every week or so.
Partly because I'm awful at keeping a routine, and partly because I barely grow anything anyway.
This for me, but add in "partly because I really cba either".
