Well I have to go through a painful routine to get to sleep.
I get ready for bed, sit on the computer for a little bit, get into bed, browse the net in the dark on my phone (and now the tricky bit), lay on my left side for a bit until it's not that comfortable, lay on my right side for a bit until it's not that comfortable, roll back over to my right and then I usually fall asleep ... if not, it's going to be a long night.
If I do have a rough nights sleep, I can't nap 'cos that will screw me up for about 3 weeks! If I get time off work and I start going to bed at 3 or 4 am, then I have a nightmare of a time sorting my sleeping pattern out again. Last time it happened I got 40 mins (seriously!) sleep then I had to be in work ... I work as a chef and probably killed a few people (not really).
Another weird point for me is, I don't dream ... I know you will probably say "everybody dreams" really? Everybody? People have all kinds of weird and wild deformations and mental issues but 100% of people ever dream, always? I have had the occasional dream but I can remember 1 dream and know I've had like 3 other dreams but don't remember any details of them. I just go to bed and a few hours later wake up.
