I can sleep, not the greatest of sleeps, but i'm able to.
I usually prefer around 9+ hours of sleep, tend to near an average of 12 to 13 hours when I don't have any responsibilities.
Also, sleeping during the day sucks. You wake up and it's already past the afternoon. You're slow and groggy while everyone else is doing whatever normally. Not to mention the feeling of just not getting anything done and the loss of usable daylight.
As for problems I have sleeping:
- I have a lot of trouble getting to sleep initially. I need an almost dead silent environment. I can deal with white/constant noise as long as it isn't loud or really high pitched, but someone talking in a neighboring room will keep me awake.
- Even in an ideal environment, it usually takes me more than an hour to fall asleep. In the rare circumstance that I'm actually exhausted, it may only take 20-30 minutes.
- I tend to wake back up every 1-3 hours. I rarely have trouble falling back asleep at this point, but it gets really annoying if I start waking up every 30 minutes or less.
And just because I want to say it:
Sleeping in the summertime SUCKS
Everything is hot, sweaty, and uncomfortable.
Fans make me congested for some reason.
An air conditioner in my room makes me nauseous if left on for too long.
