Well when I haven't slept in a long time I become more irritated by inanimate objects and NPC's. However I am noramly too lazy to be mean when tired, so I just ramble on about things.
I've never been affected by sleep deprivation so to speek but I would hazzard a guess that the above situation would be exsasabated.

Twitchy, VERY twitchy. I played COD4 on PC while sleep deprived (only a few hours ago, i havent slept in over 30 hours) and when someone jumped me, i literally jumped outta my seat, but still managed to kill the guy :D. I continued playing and found i actually play better while deprived while in the middle of battle, but start to drift off when idle.

Weirdly, too much sleep affects me far more negatively than a small amount. I sleep about five hours per night. Keeps me sharp. Any more and I can't concentrate and I feel drowsy.

Incidentally, Tony Blair is a famous 5-hours-a-night sleeper.
And look what a great job he did...

Makes me smoke more.
And gives me spots.

I'm a chronic Insomniac, infact I think the word that should be given to what ive got is Perminant insomniac, Ive had since birth, so did my mum so it runs in the family I guess.
I dont really get any negative affects from it, guess my bodys like got used to it for having it so many years, actually I get some positive affects from it, on a night I have far more energy then I do the rest of the day, I tend to practice alot at night thanks to this.

But it does start taking negative effect after a few days without any sleep, the longest time ive had with no sleep at all I think was a fortnight and at the point I was sluggish I wasnt making much sense, nothing seemed real, I was helucinating.

Well i stayed up for 27 hours once and as soon as i sat down...zzzzz

My experience from no sleep is mainly a sense of nothing wrong. You often say to friends, 'I don't feel tired! Do you?' and then it hits you as soon as you stop moving.

My record is 49 hours without a wink of sleep. It was pretty exhausting. But sometimes I would get hyperactive, couldn't sit still, 10 minutes later I would be falling asleep in my chair, just to be woken up by someone messaging me @.@

I've heard that after 50 hours without sleep you start hallucinating.
You do start hallucinating after 50 hours, and let me tell you that it is fucking scary, take it from me, no bet is worth the horror you'll end up going though if you stay up too long.

Almost complete loss of focus on anything - its like my IQ drops 60 points and I become extremely lethargic, irrational temperament (and this is after only about 20 hours awake)

I'm not quite sure. I average 4-5 hours of sleep a night, so I'm constantly sleep deprived. When I go through further deprivation, getting an hour or less of sleep I still function but I tend to drift off and lose concentration. But again, I don't really have anything to compare good sleep, I.E. 8 hours a day on average to what I get, so I don't know if there would be a difference. My longest stretch of sleep deprivation was probably 38 hours with 26 minutes of sleep, and it was miserable, but I mainly just felt tired and out of it. I can't see how some people can go more than that without any sleep unless they have a little help from amphetamines.

Yeh that's just about the same with me, if i get the supposed correct 7 or 8 hours i end up finding it really hard to get out of bed, and sluggish all day. If i get about 5 its bang on and I'm straight out of bed in the morning like I've been up for hours.
As for sleep deprivation, I go through this pretty regularly, my work hours can be a bit of a hassle for socialisnig so I'm often round a mates 'til silly o clock and then decide it's not worth going to bed so I don't. I usually get far more talkative and don't think too much about what I'm saying - great for being a salesman =)

I get kind of jumpy and hyperactive, but with zero brainpower and my reactions get a lot slower (sluggish I guess.)

I have Insomnia as well, and it often makes me act oddly, and I sometimes hallucinate out of the corner of my eye.
