Godspeed.

My imaginary girlfriend doesn't like video games very much, I keep giving her the controller but she always immediately drops it.
She never explains herself either does she?

My pillow girlfriend does the same goddamn thing.
I know! Sometimes its like she isn't even there.

My ex used to hate it. "What are you doing tonight?" "Probably playing Warcraft for 8 hours" "Oh..."

Learned my lesson there, remember kids, breasts > games.

My girlfriend games as much as me, be it different genre's (I play PC FPS, she loves anime rpg's and games like res evil and MGS) but we love to co-op together

My GF is a very kind and accepting person. She tries to smile when I start going into game talk, but she starts to space off very quickly. She just has no interest.

And I've tried to get her interested...but it's a long road. She is unable to finish the cell phase on Spore because she feels it's too complicated. If she dies in a game even once, she's done and wants to move onto more interesting activities.

So when I'm around her, I don't get a whole lot of gaming done. But hey, it has perks.

She picks up a controller and joins in, or asks me to introduce her to whatever "new" game I've happened to pick up. She kicks ass that way.

She dosen't mind.she used to ***** at me a little when we first started going out together (6 years ago) but now she made her peace with it, she's even interested in some games (mostly RPG's...)

The worst that happens is that if i play too long, she's sound asleep when i go to bed, and it's on purpose :p i know now that "i'm going to bed, i'm reading a little but i'll probably be sleeping in 30 mins or so" means "last call"

Besides if she wants me to do something she just asks, i pause, do the stuff then go back at it...

I know not all of us have girlfriends currently so past ones obviously count but really, how do your guys' girlfriends deal with you being a *grimace* 'gamer'? Personally, it doesn't interfere with my relationship too much. Occasionally I get the cold shoulder for wanting to play some cod with the guys on my mic instead of talking on the phone with her, but she will try a couple games when the planets align. Btw I talk to her on the phone everyday and also in person and through text, so its not like I'm depriving her by playing.
She and I play FFXI together, but she plays it mostly because it's a way for us to spend time together. as far as outside of that, she seems to get miffed when I bring my DS when we "hang out" at her parents house (which has absolutely nothing to do and even less because her parents are there five feet away) because I'm playing it and "not talking to her".

I'm like, if you wanna talk, call me. I'm here because you wanted me here, but I'm bored silly so this is my backup plan.

I don't have a girlfriend now, because, well, I upgraded her to a wife. :)

Anyways, mine doesn't so much cope than grimace every time I play single-player games. She's okay about multiplayer, 'cause by her reasoning it's considered socialising >D

Hard not to love a person like that :)

My girlfriend was awesome. We'd both play a game. and if i killed her through some form of hand to hand contact- we'd spar or wrestle (this was purely dependent whether i had time to stand and ready myself :p)
Until she keyed my CoD6 disc first week of release. She had to go.
