The sad Celes scene in FF6 when
you let Cid die
Was almost sad enough to make me cry.
<spoiler=apparently you can>apparently you can save him if you get the right fish though I didn't find out until after he died

The only time I felt an emotional attachment to a character was at the end of The Longest Journey when <spoiler=ending goes here>you find your not the chosen one and your life is pretty much screwed

The Darkness. Right at the end of the first chapter. That entire scene was so well done. I didn't cry (I've only ever cried twice ((and manly crying, at that)) during the ending for The Crow and Donnie Darko), but I was close to shedding a tear.

The closest I've ever came to since then was the ending for Far Cry 2, simply because of how bad it was.

It happened to me twice in GTA 4. First I
killed Darko Brevic
but then felt so bad about it after hearing Niko talk that I had to go back and choose the other option.

Then I chose the option where
Roman died
and had to go back and do that again.

I was roaring with rage at Last Remnant. Mostly because of the battle system, but also since I realized there really wasn't a story there.
Oh be fair dude, there is...
You just have to make it up yourself in your head :p

There was a part in Bioshock where i walked past a grammarphone playing Danny Boy [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZly4ReOlcI] and i had to stop and listen to the whole song.
I dont know why, but i almost shed a tear.
Good game that one.

I choked up a little playing Crisis Core when Zack was crying in the church. A big part of it was the reason he was crying, another part was Zack was crying, and the rest was the sad version of the song "Why" playing in the background.

I cried when my dog died in Fable 2, say what you will but I loved Ceasar.
Despite losing him, I took the moral high road at the end of the game. I did resurrect him on Knothole Island and it was a joyous time.

The ending to Prince of Persia (2008) made me weep a single, manly tear. Forget the opening act in Up; if this doesn't make you tear up, you have no soul.

On the other end of the spectrum, the end of Overlord II made me sh*t a brick, becasue:

NOTHING F**KING HAPPENS! THE EFFING GAME JUST EFFING ENDS!

I sometimes get rather angry when bullshit occurs in CoD or Halo 3, but that's about it.
I was once playing CoD 2 for the achievements (cause they're pretty easy to get), and my teammates have continually let me down, be they Russian or American. Yet, surprisingly, the Brits never once let me down, it just must have been this-

But as emotion goes, I think rage would suffice. Or whatever emotion causes you to systematically slaughter your whole squadron with a tommy gun....

My shrivelled black husk of a heart was touched playing Final Fantasy IX, where:

Garland tells Zidane about his true origins and the purpose for his creation - he was designed to destroy all life on Gaia so the planet could be absorbed by Terra.
After all the shit he's been through, being a pillar of strength for Dagger, Vivi and Freya as they dealt with their own issues, this revelation is simply too much for him.
He cracks and gives up, resigning himself to death.

And then his friends show up to pull him out of his depression, just as he did for them.
Made me smile.

Oh man, in Fallout 3 before I turned on the purifier I played the note your dad leaves you before you leave the vault. It was amazing how much emotion that whole scene played out with the note playing in the background.
